Bear killed southwestern PA 2018 rifle bear season. Believe it was the second biggest killed in PA for the 18 season.
    Albino deer spotted while driving.

    Sad day...sorry to hear that

That is one hell of a black bear, they definitely aren't that big here in NM (or at least I haven't seen one that big).
I caught eye of an albino Elk here in NM but it was about 1,000 yards away so I was unable to snap quality photos.

The usual bears I've seen alive and killed around here average 150-250lbs. This one was 530+ live weight. The game commission ran tests on it. It was a very old bear with decaying teeth and was assumed by the biologist due to it's health conditions probably would not have survived over 1 year.

No mom around I take it? We had a deer like that when I was a kid that’s mom got hit by a car, we bottle fed it and was a great pet that would come by all the time.
