I don't believe in guns. I have one of these stickers on each window of my truck which should prevent anyone from robbing me.

    I typically carry a Springfield Armory semi-auto.

In Missouri, your automobile is considered the same as your house under the Castle Law: we have no obligation to retreat.

Now, there IS something to be said about securing a firearm properly [reasonably], but again, we SHOULD be secure in our homes, cars, and persons, and in Missouri, we are protected from lawsuits.

I love the idea of having easy [quick] access to my handgun, but not at the expense of having it holstered in the open. [I like the Gum Greek bag, but you CAN see the extra magazine on the side.]

While I am a big LEO supporter, I don't like the idea of ever being pulled over with a gun in plain view: it could be alright, depending upon who pulls you over, but I don't want some poorly trained yahoo getting nervous and shooting me. Quick risk calculation for where I live shows me that there is a greater chance of a problem like that, than with a criminal.

Also, I don't like to open carry because the bad guy KNOWS you are carrying before I know he is a BAD guy.

For an 'extra' truck gun, it depends where I'm heading: if I want it out in plain view, I'd take my .22 semi-auto ruger with attached extra mags [3].

I'm thanking of getting this for a 'bag' gun, as it has a folding stock, and based upon Hickcock 45's reviews [youtube], it seems to be a reliably functional, accurate weapon: https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/15213

P.S. Like I need another shotgun , but the Mossberg shockwave looks cool. Doesn't matter though because it's illegal in my state. [It only has a 14" barrel.]

Not a SBR. It is a SB Tactical brace, so the gun is considered a pistol.

Exactly. I never understood people that would remove their gun from their person and put it in a holster in a vehicle. So when they get ripped out of their vehicle now they don't have the gun and their car got stolen. Mine never leaves my side.

    1. It is more accessible than trying to get it out of your waistband if forced to. Go back and look at my pic. It is ready to go with my right hand. Somebody grabs me and that gun is coming up as they are pulling me. But I agree with you on sticking it in the center console in a holster. It is useless in the center console unless you have a considerate perp that lets you get your shit together before he pulls you completely out of the truck.

Me too... but I like options depending on the situation. Some times the hands aren't good enough to keep you breathing.

If the hands don’t work the truck usually will finish them off
