    Happy Easter.
Does anyone here have a good suggestion for a tablet that can be used just for dedicated maps and navigation purposes for our trucks that is also compatible with current GPS and apps? I am looking at excellent Easter deals on Amazon and Best Buy but do not want to buy one that isn’t compatible or is missing GPS or internal compass etc.

I have a Samsung Tab A, I just haven't set it up for nav yet. No cellular, so you'd have to use offline maps. I hear great things about the Gaia app.

Gaia App for android still gets my vote. I'm not android savvy

If you wanted to spend a couple bucks you could pick up a Lowrance second hand for a good deal. They're always on ebay for a steal.

Depends on what flavor you like. Apple vers Google.

I'm an android (Google) guy, phone and tablet. Nice thing is(or not if you're big on privacy, it boils down to which evil you pick.) you sync up with google maps, you search things on your phone and you have that history on your tablet. Cell service is a nice thing to have with the tablet but you can always hot spot your phone, if you have that option.

I got a 3 year old Samsung Galaxy Tab. Works great for me on the road, plug in on charger and let Google Maps navigate me in. I'm smokin over a HU replacement that gives me Android Auto but haven't made a decision on that yet.
