So I picked up my first Tundra yesterday!! Super excited, love it!! (2017 SR5 DC 4.6 TSS 87k Miles) Has brand new tires the dealer put on but they are KENDA Klever A/T 285/55/20 (I assume these were the cheapest AT tires they could find.
Never heard of this brand and thinking I should just sell or trade them for something a little more trustworthy. They seem to ride ok, not super noisy and seem to grip ok wet and dry but I’d rather have a reputable brand especially in a vehicle this size. At the very least I would just get them remounted with the whitewalls facing in since I want to black out the truck. Any thoughts? Run them till they wear out or sell and put some quality rubber on?

I don't know much about those tires...but I love my Falken Wildpeak AT3/W tires. Look great and quiet as well.

Kenda is well known in the mountain biking world, I've used a number of their tires over the years on my mountain bikes. Never seen their truck tires before, but a quick Google confirms you are right they are very affordable.
Well, they look new so I would run them for a bit until/unless you find them to be inadequate, then you can better articulate just what you need in your tires that they aren't, like dealing with local weather (snow in winter, but not at least Mud/Snow rated, for example).
    Nice looking ride, BTW.

my opinion....run them til they're done or if you feel they're not up to par with what you need out of them. you never seem to get the money you'd want in return....so may as well run them. I like my bfg ko2's enough to get them in 35s when i get my lift installed. lil more pricey, but one of the most reliable and long lasting rated tires out there for an AT.

I have a new set off my 2019 that have 25 miles on them and I cant give them away.

I should have left them on and went to a parking lot and made them bald.

Settled on a set of Toyo Open Country AT2s, the P rated since the only time I go off road is when I’m texting :eek2:. Guy on CL offered me $600 for the set of Kendas and I’ll probably take it. Which puts the toyos at $650 (including road hazard which I end up using about twice a year in DFW), easily worth it for peace of mind of a name brand. Love how the toyos look!!
    Thanks for all the opinions.
