That thing’s a beast. Part of me wouldn’t mind having a moose killer for a bumper, but it would make it a little difficult to park when I’m in the city. But too many of em for 2nd gens just look too damn bulky, the Demello bumper wouldn’t be bad if it lined up with stock fenders.

No problem with the new OME BP-51s with HD coils.

Installed weight is about 200 according to the press release. Shipping is 270. Either way still heavy

Makes sense. 200 is pretty much normal for a full HD winch bumper. A full HD Ranch Hand can weigh that much. The Iron Cross is pretty close to 200. Keep in mind all these full HD winch bumpers weight includes about 80 to 100lbs of winch mount plate.

Can’t seem to view it on my phone. Curious to see what it looks like. I really liked the ARB bumper on an ‘03 Tacoma I used to own.

I know they’re popular with most, and I’m sure they provide good winch mounts, but I’m not a fan of some of the big, oversized, heavy plate bumpers offered for our trucks. Am curious to see if the ARB has a more subtle look. I tried a google image search, but I can only find their 2nd generation offering.

The weight of the bumper is really excessive, but I LOVE the look of it and the full protection. There have been numerous times I've been in a tight wash and had overhangs/inverted face walls nearly take out my lights!

Not the worst looking bumper, but too big and heavy. Why are 90% of the 3rd Gen bumpers massive?

It all depends on your use, where you live. The type of critters crossing the road. There are a lot of massive bumpers out there for the 2nd gens. If you live in moose country you would want one. If you live in mouse country then go for the minimalist winch bumpers.

Ranch Hands' large heavy bumpers are like weeds in cattle country. See um everywhere on trucks.

I had one on my 5th gen 4Runner, worth the $ and weight in my opinion. I'll be picking one up for the Tundra at some point.

None yet but side steps this Friday who knows what’s next...
I had a ARB on my KJ and it saved me a couple of times. My JK is naked with just a winch that is mounted to a welded in plate. I wouldn’t mind this and the Arb on the JK.

    Function before sparkle.
It has a purpose: For animal strikes it’s exactly what you want to deflect down and away from the truck. It’s a big consideration for the ARB engineering process overall with the number of kangaroos that are hit on Australian roads.

Big dog tundra how hard was the install for your ARB? Were the instructions pretty clear and all the mounting hardware easy to use and fit correctly?

    thank you!!
