Hahah well done. I’ll wipe it down and recheck/photograph in the am. Last time I did that it wasn’t hanging off the end of the shock mount cover like you’ve mentioned.

Keep me posted on what you find out. As much as I wouldn’t want others to have this issue I’m sure this thread will help others experiencing this issue.

    Some stuff
leaking shock was at 125 psi. after trading a few emails with king, we put in 300 psi and let it sit for a few hours while we worked on the front bypasses last friday. after about 4 hours, the shock did not show any signs of leakage. bled it all out, put it back on the truck then filled to 200. i do not remember the pressure on the other side but it is now at 200 as well. king's recommendation is 150 but the rear end feels really good at 200.

it's been 5 days and the shock has not dripped at all.

This is some good news. Did you replace the seals? Or just fill it up to 300 to check for leaks and then set it at your desired pressure?

I may need to get a nitrogen tank, gauge, and give this a shot. Are you in so cal?

No, we did not replace the seals. Charged to 300 psi, let sit for 4+ hours, no leaks, dropped pressure to ~180 psi.

I didn’t know if they would do this kind of work while they’re still on the truck? Can you confirm?

You can charge the shocks on the truck. I check mine every 3-4 months to ensure proper pressure.

One more thing I would like to point out is this:

The shocks may say "charged", but that might only be for shipping and set at low pressure. I have seen shocks as low as 40 psi.

Thank you for all the input. I’m going to make a point to get on this and check the pressures/fill to check for leaks and re-set the pressure.

did not change the seals. no, i'm no longer in socal otherwise i would totally offer up my driveway. if you want your nitrogen setup, i'll recommend the same that @ColoradoTJ recommended to me. actually, just bought it yesterday.

    https://www.schmidtyracing.com/Mastercool-725PSI-Rubber-Hose-Kit-p/n-reg-mas725-8r-w.htm

i just went with an 8' rubber hose and 600 psi gauge. then just grab a nitrogen tank.

Don’t blame you for getting up and out of California-working on my exit plan...

Right on! I appreciate the continual input here. I was also checking out polyperformances nitrogen tank kit. A bit pricy but comes with a plethora of items that may be useful in the future.
