    Hey Guys,

So I decided to keep my tundra after the insurance deemed it a total loss.It is a SR5 2008 with 120,000 miles on. I'm going to be rebuilding the front end and posting pictures from tear down to rebuild. I have read a few forums but I have not seen a step by step and part by part list required to do so. A few have shown part numbers or YouTube videos. I will be using my GoPro to film the transformation. I'll keep you guys posted. Any recommendations from someone who has gone through this process??

Ran a new liquid A/C line due to collision busting my old one and waiting on new lock for hood since 2nd gen is different and one bracket for the support I ordered. Overall it's coming along good just making adjustments. Trd pro headlights dont hook up to 2nd gen I'm going to need a harness.

Do I still need the transmission cooler? The new a/c condenser looks different and as if the trans lines can hook direct to condenser??

not sure yet about doing the bed skin and tailgate possibly, does anyone know the answer to the transmission cooler? seems like the a/c condenser has direct hook ups for trans lines. can I remove the old transmission cooler and hook lines direct to condenser?!?

I think you’re not getting any answers because nobody has any experience with this...kinda expected when you’re doing something only a handful of people have ever done...good luck, I’d try calling the manufacturer...

The trans cooler style changed mid 10. You can run both in parallel or take yours out and use just the one in the ac condenser. I’d try to run both for extra cooling. Can buy trans lines at an auto store to run both.

Wow that's looking good. That first photo hits hard home as my truck looks almost identical. Same front grills inserts and same color. Glad you brought it back my man.
