Hello. I never made a build thread on my 2014 Tundra. So I thought I'd try on my 2019. So here goes. My current project like the title says. It's a 2019 CM TRD Sport in MGM. I will try and update this thread as I do things to my truck. Maybe I'll come up with ideas that may inspire others to do.
Here it sets just in from a dealer swap. I wanted the least amount of add ons and this was it. Aside from the TRD Sport pkg. It only had the Sport "convenience" pkg. I think it included the front and rear park assist and blind spot monitoring. No steps, no bed liner, no leather. I simply do not like leather.

So far, I've put the driver Oh $h!t handle on and the rear bed step.
IMG_20190409_125226557_HDR.jpg The step originally came with a new bracket but I let it go with the old truck. I remember reading about a guy cutting the factory bracket to make room instead of pulling the rear bumper cap offIMG_20190411_191415703.jpg IMG_20190411_191722951.jpg so I did and it worked. Up IMG_20190411_200627054.jpg , and down IMG_20190411_200506735.jpg .

Dipped the chrome. Thinking of removing the TRD stickers.

Had a door lock solenoid laying around so I did the diy actuator to the tailgate. IMG_20190421_011928131.jpg IMG_20190421_015130363.jpg
Dipped the 2 outer vent rings. Real easy to get them out.

I put my amp steps on, but they only worked for a few days until something broke. Sounded like stripped gears so I investigated it. Apparently it's not a part you can buy so I made a replacement out of 1/8" key stock. About 2-1/4" long. The original looked like a short flex driveshaft for a RC boat. Pros : it works, con : there is no give in between the motor output and drive gear input. So eventually I think gears will go next.

Thanks ! It's not as elaborate as some builds and slow going. LoL I've got some ideas for several things eventually.

Tinted the windows last weekend. And put the new treads on the Amp steps.

Finally got around to putting my BA mufflers on. I really like the sound. Not obnoxious and has more rumble than the magnaflow I had on my old truck. The hangers I think are a little off but everything is tight.IMG_20190719_211132728.jpg IMG_20190719_213721540.jpg Haven't put the resonator on yet. Haven't pulled my trailer either though. I sound deadened the doors recently. IMG_20190623_223043284.jpg IMG_20190623_235136324.jpgI like to spray a little rubber undercoating to stuff I can't reach. IMG_20190624_233909508.jpg IMG_20190624_010920238.jpg And am slowly collecting my audio equipment. Got these for the front doors. IMG_20190722_140112396.jpg Looking to get a DSP. Probably one with an amp built in but I've already got a DD 4ch.

Very cool!! Would you please tell me what I am assuming are the two outer vent rings, how did you get them out?? I thought all 2019 TRD Sports came with the tailgate lock?? Strange but glad you got er done.

    They come out really easy.
    IMG_20190420_200741240.jpg IMG_20190420_200816682.jpg IMG_20190420_200836310.jpg
1st pop the vent off the dash piece.IMG_20190420_200845476.jpgIMG_20190420_200943166.jpg IMG_20190420_200956298.jpg
Then pop the chrome off the vent.
    IMG_20190420_201023121.jpg
Driver side is just as easy.
    IMG_20190420_201407371.jpg IMG_20190420_200413879.jpg

On the tailgate lock, I didn't know any Tundra came factory with one.

Wrapped a few pieces. Gonna do the rest when I have time. Thinking of doing the silver on the doors too.

It's been a little while since I've done anything, but after having bought and it sitting on a trailer for 3 months, I finally got around to putting on my Snugtop. Got it silver. Test fit to make sure I'd like it. Then ordered some Oracle vinyl to wrap it. The grey is extremely close but when the sun hits it just right, there vinyl has a little brighter metallic. Overall I'm happy with the color match.

After having the parts for almost a year, (a week or 2 shy) I finally got around to putting them on. Up front I did 5100's top setting with Coachbuilder shims, 2 driver, 1 pass. In the rear I did Coachbuilders +3 and 5100's as well. Alignment I think came out pretty good considering I still have stock UCA's. Any alignment savvy people out there see something that needs tweaking, please let me know. Still have a few things I bought over a year ago that needs installing. Due time LOL. Thanks for looking.

Got some new tires the other day. Was running 295/70/18 STT Pro's. Downsized to a 275/70/18 Cooper AT3 XLT. So far I'm really happy with them. Pros weren't wore out, I'm tired of hearing them. They weren't super loud just annoying. I have some stereo upgrades and I know it would sound better with less road noise. Also, when I got the 295's I hadn't planned on pulling an enclosed trailer regularly. More to come. If I every find time I have a Mosconi Pico 8[12 amp/dsp to install with other goodies. Fender flares that I bought in summer of 2019. And other little odd n ends too.

This is inspiring me to start a build on my 2020 MGM Sport. And I told myself that i wouldn't do it again...seeing this is giving me the "lets build another one" itch....lol

LOL. Thanks. There's alot of like to do but this is my DD and work truck, so I don't want to get too wild. I think it's alright as long as it doesn't hinder your purpose of the truck.

When you did the 5100s on the top setting, would the front have been higher than the rear? I noticed that you raised the rear a bit also.

My last Tundra, I did the middle setting front and I did nothing to the rear and it was still a bit lower than the rear.
I'm about to do the 5100s on the front of my 2021 and thinking about doing the top setting, but I don't want the front higher than the rear.

    Thanks. Great looking truck.

I did 5100s top setting in front and 5100s in the rear...sits perfectly level at top setting which is what I wanted.

Ah, so you didn't raise the rear at all. I must have mis-read. Perfect. That is what I am wanting. Thank you!

I did raise the rear with +3 shackles. On my other truck I did top setting with 2 shims and +2 shackles. I think it was pretty level.

Would love to see more of this truck!! I’m trying to decide if I should keep my 2.5” leveling kit or just put 275/70’s on my stock setup…

Here's a few more. Is your leveling kit not installed yet?
