So I got to really tow a trailer today. I towed it roughly 34 miles never going over 63 mph. I checked my average mph and this is what I got...

Me too. But didn’t buy the tundra for mpg. Lol. I am running 35 and I get 12-13 . Before the lift and tires I was getting 13-15. Getting ready to start pulling 5500 pondtoon every weekend.

Ill be towing my 6k camper in the next couple of weekends for the first time with the Tundra. I was in the 10mpg range with my 2016 GMC 5.3 z71 8 speed.
    Curious to see the comparison.

I dont understand why prople are so quick tp call BS on mileage reports (especially on other brands).
"Oh, you didnt use the fuelly app so ypur numbera are BS"...
Hey buddy, even if my my numbers were off by 20%, they are still better than a Tundra on its best day! (and ill be the first to say I traded that truck for a Tundra because MPGs arent everything).

This is what I am towing. Hand calculation almost impossible just for 1 trip with trailer.

No way you got 15. You need to average out an entire tank of fuel.

Let us know after you have hand calculated the total miles by gallons used.

In every vehicle I've ever owned the MPG displayed by the computer is higher than reality. You've got the check the math at the pump.

My trucks mpg display was pretty accurate against a hand calculation, truck said 10.3 and hand calc was 10 even.

Very nice. You have the only Tundra that can pass a gas station.
