First things first...I promise I have used the search function to the fullest and I'm not just trying to start a "will it fit" thread in here.

I bought my Tundra used with what appears to be a leveling kit (I don't think it's a lift kit), 20" wheels, and KO2s. Here's my dilemma. Currently my truck has 285/65/20 tires on it, when the time comes in the near future for new tires I feel like there are plenty more options available for 35x12.50r20 sized tires. I found a tire size calculator online and see that there really is a small difference in sizes (see below). Question is, currently at full lock it looks quite close to rubbing but does NOT. Will the additional 1.3 inches of width, 0.65 inches on each side, be that much of a difference that they will rub? Or do you think if whatever lift/level is currently on my truck fits the 265/85s that the 35s will fit no problem?

Screenshot_20190416-180855.jpg Again I don't know what level/lift kit it has, I don't know what wheel offset they are, as they came on the truck when I bought it.

Can you post additional pictures of your truck?

Have you tried putting your truck in full lock to measure? Then take into consideration flexing while under different loads.

More pics of the wheels and stuff, or like the poster above said with the wheels locked. Some of those might help others get a better idea of the wheel offset you have, as to whether you will run into issues with the bigger tires.

It also depends on the next tire you choose. If you're going with KO2s again then you may be fine, but if you go to a mud tire you'll probably have some rubbing.

Highly likely that someone has the same if not similar setup. Post up some pics of suspensions up front UCA/top hat, rear axle/shock

Looks like a block under the leaf springs in the back and a spacer in the front?

Pic of the wheel, assuming no spacers.

No spacers. I looked at the website for the wheel company and found they only make a 10mm or 35mm offset for the Tundra.

Too many variables it’s impossible to say. First, you should look up the tire you have and the tire you want to buy and find out the actual size. 35’s are rarely 35”. Most of them are like 34.6 - 34.8. Same goes for the 285/65. They’re rounded up or down so it’s probably not actually 34.6. But generally, most people trim just enough to make their tires stop rubbing and if it actually increases that much, it will likely rub. Also, your current tires are worn down and difficult to eyeball whether a certain amount of increase will rub.

Thanks for the input, I have considered all the things you've mentioned, just hoping I could squeeze a little wider tire in there. I'm sticking with the KO2s, always have and always will.

My philosophy is just put on the size you want and deal with the rubbing.
