I installed mine yesterday, the install took a whole 30 minutes. There is also a very noticeable difference in the ride and cornering. I would highly recommend this addition to your "Mod List"... I also would like to give a shout out to brother, ChucklesToy, for sending me a PDF copy20161010_162825.jpg of the install instructions that didn't come with my rear sway bar...

Just got them on my 2016 DC limited, mine is a road warrior, big difference on the exit ramps, next up would be the sequoia front sway bar, there is still a bit of roll on the on/off ramps in the front.
Any you guys running both and can give some feedback would be great!

toyota should just paint the sequoia bar red and sell it as TRD mod!!

Hey guys. Will this fit even if it's been lifted with toytec shackles set max height?

Installed this the other night and finally got a chance to drive it around today. And wow it drives so much better onroad. The rear really stays flat through corners and on ramps. By no means does it handle like a sports car but it handles really good for a truck! And I'm running a 3/1 lift with 33" tires.

Highly recommend this for on road. Thanks for everyone that recommended it.

Nice to see you all followed the instructions and resist the urge to find a place for the extra washers toyota includes to mess with our minds.

I'm loving mine as well, definitely a great investment. I don't mind hitting corners a bit harder, and I know if I need to make a sudden movement to avoid something, it's going to handle a bit better.

Installed mine today and I was confused by the extra washers. But, since it's so simple, I figured I could fix it easily if I'd screwed up. Guess I didn't though.

Lol. I had to do a tripple take on the instructions before I figured it out. It's for use if you do not have a hitch.

So let me make it easy for any future installers:

    You will have
With Hitch - 4 extra washers
Without hitch - 0 extra washers

I also scratched my head for a bit, as I didn't know this prior to install.

I had to go out this evening to pick up the X-Mas tree and was really surprised that the sway bar made such a noticeable difference. I was skeptical, but figured I could always sell it if I didn't like it. Well, looks like I'm keeping it.

GNTundra is right. I've got TT shackles set at 1" and can verify that it'd work without a doubt.

    polox40,

I run both the TRD rear sway bar and the front sequoia bar.

The rear made a HUGE difference, in that it limited the body roll (as you are already aware).

B/L: The front bar made a MARGINAL difference...in terms of how it feels, the sequoia bar made the steering feel a little stiffer/heavier. I would do it again.

    Cheers,

    Frank

Does anybody tow regularly with the sway bar? Does it make a big difference while towing?

I haven't towed with it yet, but I would assume it does. I noticed a difference not towing, I would think the difference would only be exaggerated with added weight/forces. Hopefully someone will chime in that can actually answer it instead of my assumptions, haha.

I tow a 27' TT, about 5500lbs. I installed a Helwig rear sway bar this past summer. I feel it helps to keep the truck straight . Very little roll on the truck especially when the wind kicks up and tries to push the camper. The Hellwig is thicker than the TRD.

I just towed my boat over the weekend for the first time since having installed the sway bar I did notice it felt much smoother around corners and changing lanes definitely worth the price $260
