Installed mine in just under 1 hour.

Couple notes that slowed my install down:
    1) Impact or drill with 10 mm socket would have been a bit faster than using a socket wrench.
    2) In order to remove the plastic color matched trim piece below the headlight, I had to remove the 1st 4 bolts on my stock bushwacker style fender flares to allow them enough room to slightly bend to access the back portion of the trim piece where it pops off.
    3) Fog lights was harder than the headlights. I was not sure how the connection worked since all you can do is feel it (not see it), so my genius self decides to take one of the front splash guards and plastic in the fender wells off to see it )In hindsight, taking a pic with my camera phone probably would have been way easier, and sorry not sure why it didn't cross my mind to take a good pic while I had it uncovered!). For those who upgrade to bigger tires, there is a metal bar inside that holds the front little splash guards on, so when you undo both screws, the metal bar just falls down to the bottom, I guess it lives in your bumper or finds a way out at some point.

Other than those things, it really is an easy project if you read and watch the videos in this thread, plus there are several similar youtube videos you can watch.

Looking forward to testing them tonight and also plan on comparing them against my garage door to the wife's Sylvania ZXE headlights in her 2010 Sequoia that I had to install last week due to one of her stock headlights were burned out.

Yeah, I need to use my other Virb next time. It has vibration reduction.

Hey all, installed a few days ago and like many had a few questions myself.
    1. The headlight orientation. They seem to lock in, in a side to side position. However it apears that the plate/shield at the tip of the bulb needs to be facing downward. Can anyone confirm this? I tried both ways and it does make a diference.
    2. The foglight connector, like jw1019 said is dificult to remove without looking because it has a relase button that must be pressed near the bottom of the connector. I had to remove my splash guard too lol. Sorry no pics.
Lastly, in my opinion the headlights with the foglights are a great improvement. Without the foglights, the headlights are just ok:cool:

Glad I am not the only one who couldn't figure out how to release the wire clip on the fog light!

Here's a pic of the stock bulb, and the orientation of how it was, the led will be similar with the shield on under the bulb.

There is a video already in this thread with the light output. I've also posted pictures in this thread as well.

This pic is opposite of how it should go on the 3rd Gen Tundra. I would think the 2nd gen would be similar. Basically, when you pull your stock headlight, just pay attention to how the cup/shield is facing and put the Auxbeam one facing the same way.Screenshot_20190311-204523_Chrome.jpg

Wow, i feel so dumb now. I researched so much that i fooled myself into switching to what i understood as the cup facing downward right before i buttoned her up.:annoyed:looks like im going back in. Thanks for clarifying.

It is kind of counterintuitive, you would think that since the shield is on the low beam, it would need to be on top to block the lights from shining to high! I scratched my head the whole time, but re-read @TundraTSS19 post several times to make sure, think one of the videos I watched said to put it down too.

Anyone end up with a loose fog light? I couldn't see or feel anything broken but the left fog felt loose in the housing as if the clips weren't holding on tight. And now the light moves on bumpy roads

I'll take a picture later, but you should see the clips once it is rotated in and locked in place.

Correct, the cup is on the bottom (rotate that pic 180° to make it look like the correct orientation).

Seams like the Auxbeam is the way to go here for quick led headlight bulb swap.

I have a 18 SR Tundra with no factory fog lights. What’s the most cost effective/ good quality “housing “ that I would need to get to use Auxbeam driving lights to match the headlights???

Haven’t even looked to see if factory wiring harnesses are in place for fogs? Also guess I need to replace headlight handle for one with fog option/ or run new switch in many empty spots SR trim has!!

The factory foglight connector is there. I installed a set of Auxbeams in my neighbors new 2019 SR double cab with no foglights. You do have to replace the turnsignal stalk. You can get foglights on Amazon that will fit exactly to your Tundra or you can go through the dealer and pay more or buy someone's set they're selling.

Man.....I got on here to start looking up a simple good brand(s) to replace a fog light bulb that I discovered yesterday was burned out....now I have these coming in fogs, headlights, and also ordered some switchback turn signals for my 2017 SR5! I too was wanting to upgrade to the LED headlight assemblies, but didn't want to drop that much yet, especially since recently buying my lift, with tires coming in next year or so. Like most forums/FB groups I'm a part of, they make me spend money! haha

When you install them the reflector cup should be on the bottom.

Hey guys. I bought some auxbeam H4 T1. I got them installed and the low beams seem like my left is about 4 inches higher than the right. Also my highs are ained at the sky and basically useless. Is there a certain way the bulb itself is supposed to be faced? I have the reflector plate facing down but. When i installed the plate it just kinda drops in place right or does it turn and lock?
