I got my level kit installed yesterday and noticed this on my driver's side when I was getting new tires mounted. Can't be good.

    I read this thread

    https://www.tundras.com/threads/what-front-lower-ball-joints-to-go-with.28130/

    And this thread

    https://www.tundras.com/threads/lca-ball-joint-replacement-on-2007-2nd-and-3rd-gen-tundra.12492/

    And this one too

It appears new LCAs are in my near future. Not sure what could have caused this. I've only got like 50 miles on the truck since leveling it. Haven't had it aligned yet, but surely that couldn't cause something like this so soon right?

I've seen a few leveling kits cheap on craigslist, maybe they are not a good idea?

I cleaned it off and did a little more driving on it, and more grease leaked out, it's less than what's shown in the picture above, but it's definitely leaking. Can we replace just the ball joints on these trucks or does the whole LCA have to be replaced? Those threads I linked above seem to conclude the whole LCA has to go, unless I'm misunderstanding something.
