I’ve heard the SPC’s are really good or the JBA arms. I was debating on replacing mine before my alignment but there is still adjustment for the camber so I’m undecided but need numbers from members before I go to get it aligned so it’s done right

I just purchased SPC UCAs from @BOSS4x4s and will install to help get things back into alignment.
Here are my current specs with my OEM UCAs...

They said mine is back to factory specs. I forgot to ask for a copy of the print out but I’m going to swing by another shop and have it checked ( just because it has a slight pull to the right and they have a better rep for alignments )

Factory specs doesn’t mean a damn thing on anything other than a factory truck. Even the , Toyota’s tolerances are so vague, you can be “in spec” and still have a horrible alignment.

Mine are within factory specs but my front tires are at a V angle so it’s NOT right

Exactly, that’s why I’m going to another shop. The other shop is highly recommended and their alignments start at $150. They do use alignment
Computers but they also go old school with levels and tape measures from what I hear. Kinda steep but hearing it’s well worth the trip

Correct. The allowed specs are way to much. Anything more than -0.2 to 0.2 on camber should be the only green spec.

So went to Firestone today after work to see about getting my alignment done because there is to much positive camber and they couldn’t do it because their machine clamps on to the wheels and it would scratch them but before they knew that they said they could fix the problem with the positive camber but after them looking at it they told me their machine wouldn’t work for my truck but to call a Firestone in a town that was about 20 minutes away so I did and they said they had the right machine to do my alignment but they would have to align it to factory specs even after I told them the problem. Is that crazy or what ???

You need to find a specialty shop. These chain stores are worthless. Techs are only trained to do it to what their machine tells them. If it’s outside of that, they don’t know what to do. I had to wind up bringing mine to a chassis and suspension shop. Those guys knew wtf they were doing.

Can I see a pic of your wheels/tires thinking about getting the same ones. How far do they stick out of the wheel wells?

FYI I had the same issue with my 2016 trd 4x4 seems like a common issue with these trucks! 2.5” spacer lift in front and 1” block in rear 33” on 20x9’s after achieving perfect alignment specs it still pulled slightly to the right. The fix was a small adjustment to the right front caster adjustment see attached specs, it seems to have eliminated the issue and won’t wear out your tires! I hope this helps

Yes I finally found this thread I've been looking for. Below are my numbers from today. No lift, and running 275/55/20 Terra Grappler. When I let go of the wheel it turns to the right a little and the truck pulls pretty hard right. After their adjustment, its worse. Should my caster numbers be swapped?
    Thanks guys.

Based on this, it should be pulling to the left. If you’re steering wheel is turning when you let go it, I would start looking at your rack and the bushings. It’s most likely going out on you.

Really? On a truck with just under 10k miles? It has been doing this since I bought it. Should the dealer not see the bushings going bad?

They increased the left caster to try and compensate for the right pull.

It’s been doing this since day 1? Did you not test drive it? Have you tried swapping the tires left to right to see if the pull changes? You could have a bad tire which could certainly cause pull to one side.

No they didn't mess with the caster. They only adjusted the toe. This is the third time I've taken my truck back to the dealership and this is the first time they have tried to adjust it. But as you see, they didn't do squat but adjust the toe a little.

Hello all! I just recently got my lift completed and new wheels and tires installed, and am having the drift to the right. I did have the wheels and tires re-balanced today and swapped and the pull still occurs, so the radial pull is out of the question hopefully. I did install Camburg ucas, and 6112s in the front with 2 driver side shins and 1 passenger shim. I did go to firestone, I’ve heard mixed reviews and got 80$ off alignment for a lifetime. All help is greatly appreciated. Posting numbers.

Your camber is off. Should be equal on both sides and closer to 0 and not negative. Your caster is holy caster Batman and most likely pulling to the right since you have have less caster on the right than the left. You also really don’t need any more than 3* of caster. Your total toe should also be no more than 0.15. So your entire alignment is jacked up.

Oh man - It's the second one I've had in 2 days. So avoid the big name stores like Firestone and others.
