Worlds smallest light bulb (from the fog switch). Its smaller than the ‘P’ and ‘D’ bulbs from what I remember. Thought it was burnt out, but confirmed last night it was very dim. Went ahead and pulled the condom off and that should brighten things up. Looks a bit brighter with a reddish orange glow.

I didn’t check, but does the instrument dash light dimmer knob (just to the right of the fog switch) have a bulb in it?

Pioneer AVH211EX, got it from Crutchfield with everything you need including pre wiring and install instructions for about 250. Works with steering wheel controls also. Only thing I wish I had was a volume knob vs buttons.

Almost got my truck back together after paint, I decided to go with red instead of cavalry blue because my boat is red and black and I wanted them to match. 43CB0F59-D7E2-4653-BD6C-F6C6DFFFC54F.jpg 0086F157-DEB0-4B10-9037-DDB90BEAC94F.jpg D0C4C39F-808C-4A5E-9736-D626AA246BDF.jpg I still need to finish wet sanding but I got my 2nd gen flares fitted and rhino lined and all new badges and lights installed except for headlights.

Mine are just the bulbs. I went that route because I could buy the bulbs and then pick whatever style lights I wanted.

I picked up a couple of used OEM seat heater switches (a while back) for cheap for a future mod. I recently installed the switches as the wiring was already in place.
Unfortunately the passenger switch isn't as bright as the driver switch... Anyone swap out the bulbs in one of these? Anyone have a part number of the bulb??

Do they have green rubbers on them? If so, pull them off and your light will double. Post up some pics.

Dailed in the drivers side light assy by raising it a touch. The fog switch button light without the green rubber is alive again! A reddish white color illuminating through the button.

Running out of stuff to do. Might ospho and ceramic paint the muffler this week. Or, do the pink coolant conversion.

Coolants a good plan.. the pink stuffs great, it never really ever looks bad. And there’s cars with 200k on the original coolant I’ve looked at.

I'll need to figure out how to open them up tomorrow to look at the bulbs. I am assuming the High / Low lights aren't working as I do not have the other wiring in place while I wait on the heaters for the seats. I'm still reading up on the "how to install seat heaters" trying to use the factory switches. No rush on this mod; just grabbed the switches since it seemed like a good deal.

The last pic shows the difference in brightness but not as well as looking at them; it is actually a pretty big difference...

Might be diodes. I used a Sharpie on my OEM stereo diodes to tone down the brightness of all the green luminescence. Maybe do that on the brighter one to even it out. Make sure you wipe the Sharpie glaze off and only leave a light tint on the diode if you go that route.

It might be the worlds smallest bulb like in the fog switch but if it is pull the rubbers off. I’ll had two of the same bulbs with rubbers and one was brighter. Took the rubbers off and the brightness evened/equaled out to where both shone equally.

What are the benefits of of pink coolant? I use green because it’s not as prone to corrosion like some of the extended life coolants are. I also do a drain and refill every spring and fall so coolant life is not an issue for me.

Its what Toyota calls for. Green is fine. Pink just lasts long. As for corossion ive had no hint of rust/corrosion in the cooling system in any of my cars with it.
Including the 06 corolla with 750k on it

From my research recently, I’ve found out too much about coolants so I’ll give you a brief rundown.

    1) Green and Yellow are OAT. Organic Acid Technology.

    2) Other Colored coolants are HOAT. Hybrid Organic Acid Technology. Basically, a fortified OAT.

The ‘Pink’ is formulated to Toys. ‘Blue’ for Hondas. ‘Orange’ for etc....

The pink is fortified with Phosphates for our engines that have iron and aluminum metals that don’t like each other (diaeletric connections which cause a chemical reaction as water flows from one to the other). The Phosphate offsets the chemical reaction.

You can use OAT which is what the shop put in mine after installing a new radiator. Seems fine. You doing bi-annual flushes is good.

The HOAT has what the Japanese designed the engine for.

    The Toy Pink is $$$.

Zerex makes a Pink Asian formula the fits the bill for around $17 gallon. Japanese Certified (JIS).

Personally, I’d change my coolant at least every 2-3 years regardless of how it looks as the additives deplete themselves and the Ph levels can change. The older an engine gets, the more it needs its fluids (all fluids) changed.

When you do that start a new thread. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have to replace mine. I lose about 1/2 a quart a month out of the rack itself.

Alot nicer. The stock shocks were rusted and one wasn't even pressurized anymore. We collapsed it and hours later it hadn't even extended. Bumps are much nicer and it soaked up everything off road. Now my front sucks haha
