    Hey all,

Just recently my Gen 2 LED Daytime Running Lights (the LED strip under the headlights) went out. I've tested them and they are not getting power. I've searched the ole interweb and can't find anything about fuses or other people having similar problems. Anyone have any life saving hints or tips or directions on getting these things up and running again??? Thanks in advance....asking for a friend!!

LED strip under the headlights on the Gen 2? I haven't seen that on a Gen 2. Gen 3 though.

Not 100% sure, I purchased the truck 1 year used, but they are an option from the dealer. I pulled the lights and checked the wiring. No power to either side. Nothing else appears to be off/not functioning.

How did you turn them on? Are they on the same circuit as your amber running lights?

They come on with the ignition. They are completely separate from the amber DRL's

Damn, wish I could help, normally it's a fuse, ground, or loose wire.

@jfrd30, here's a suggestion. As Ron mentioned above trace the wire out for cuts or breaks in line. You could just cap off line and rewire lights to your ignition fuse via fuse tap and ground it. That's the way I did mine. Worse case scenario as @Trooper2 said above, they have them kits on Ebay for around $100 or so. You get the panel's plus led lights. Panels could be back up in case you break the male tips trying to pull them out like I did:eek:. Just a thought.

Those are cool. I've never seen them on the 07-13's before.
