Maybe they financed a tire/wheel combo and it got repo'd

That's a lot of rust on those rotors though, looks like it's been there quite awhile.

Happened to a friends dad in dallas at a hotel. He had a new chevy high country, stayed the night at a hotel then was going to catch a flight the following day, came out the next morning the wheels and tires were gone.

What's crazy is you can see in the last picture the fire department is next door also the State Police headquarters is about 1/4 mile down the road.

Good ad for locking lug nuts! Thieves should have their finger nails stolen with a set of pliers!

I didn't notice it Friday but we had a ton of rain yesterday and all through the night, dosen't take long for rotors to rust up.

That was pretty nice of them to at least put the car down on the cinder block. It’s pretty difficult to jack a car up when it’s sitting on 4 rotors.

I'm not thinking that, we don't have wheel rental/lease here plus I'm in AR, car has TX tags. I think a local meth head took them.

Beat me to it. I hate those things.

You think getting a big wheel/tire combo back on the studs is difficult try olding up the wheel, lining it up with the holes and then use one hand to start the first bolt. Then do it again three more times.

Article of proof #578 that Europe's supposed intellectual superiority over the US is a joke.

That sucks. Around here the crack heads break into trucks every few months at the airport looking for guns, which from what I have heard from the airport police, is a fairly common thing to find.

Drive it ‘till the wheels fall off.

This same thing happened to my father-in-law a few years ago. Got up in the morning to find his truck on blocks in his driveway and $2000+ in tires and wheels missing.
