Charcoal Odor Eliminator Bags

I tried one of these in my truck over the weekend. I’d been on a road trip to Dallas, so the truck was smelling pretty bad on the inside. I’d gotten fast food a couple of times during the drive so it had that hamburger and French fries stink to it. I’d also forgotten and left a couple of wet towels in the back floorboard, so it was pretty rank in there Saturday morning.

I put one of these in the truck Saturday evening, and the stink was gone Sunday morning. We’ll see how long it holds up, but it worked great so far.

They’d probably be good to keep in a closet or suitcase also.

I was not aware of that. I imagine it helps your breath though.

 

I used one in my Mega Cab after I inadvertently left a half gallon of milk on the floor in the back prior to a week long business trip......you have no idea you have a gag reflex until you jump into that horror.

After cleanup there was still a bit of a sour smell. Those things got rid of it.

 

i have these in all my cars. a couple of them sit most of the time (excursion, vette, jeep) and always had the closed up smell. this fixed it. also removed the sour milk smell in the wife's escalade form my kids dumping milk like its their job.

my parents also use them at the family cabin that used to have that closed up smell...great product two thumbs way up form me.

 

For some reason my truck always smells musty after a rain, yeah probably have a leak somewhere, but haven't located it yet. Hopefully this will help.

 

I bought a bag and it works extremely well. Those who are looking for odor eliminator bamboo charcoal works great. You can recharge it by putting it out in the sun for an hour. Had the bag since January.

 

I use the acquarium bags all over the house too (towel closets, linen closet, clothes storage, etc...). Keeps everything fresh and are super cheap when purchased in bulk acquarium mesh bags. Can also fill old cotton socks with the activated carbon and works just as well.

 

I use an ozone machine to eliminate foul odors like dead mice. It pays to find the mouse first.

As soon as I read the first post I thought about the stack of carbon bags under my tank. I'm getting ready to try a carbon alternative in the tank, so that left over might end up in my closets.
