Well I'm between a rock and a hard place. I just installed 6112/5160's in January with less then 100 miles on them (they ride great). But I just bought a set of TRD Pro Bilstein's since it was hard to pass up. Now it's time to decide if i stick to whats on there or install the TRD Pro's? Help me choose lol.... Leaning towards installing the TRD Pro Suspension.

Install the Pros. Those 6112/5160s are trash—just send them to me and I'll dispose of them.

This, 6112 at top setting and 5160's rear! I was going the TRD PRO route but glad I went with these, love the ride and saved money at it!

Looks like I might keep the 6112/5160’s on and sell the TRD Pro’s Bilstein setup. Had to make an impulse decision on buying them since the were available with only 30k miles on them.

Looks good! I have the same setup on but on the 1.9” setting and CB+2 in the rear currently.

Think I’m going to go that route but man it’s tough to ignore the beefy TRD Pro suspension all around lol.

It is nice. Pro 2.5 vs 6112 2.6. They really are an apples to apples comparison. I do kind of wish my 6112 had those red springs though lol. But that’s nothing I couldn’t have done but I don’t have the ability to get them powder coated and not have my truck haha.

Pro’s all the way. They are an internal bypass shock. 6112 are not.

This. Not sure how you can call it an apples to apples comparison..

Never seen anything about them being an IBP shock. Only mention is internal hydraulic bump stop.

Nice setup you have, I have a new set of CB #2's I've yet to install!

+100k miles = new to me.
With the new Fox TRD Pro suspension out, that should make the Billy’s that came on the pre2019’s cheaper right? I bought my 15 Limited used and it’s over100k already. The previous owner took good care of the truck, but put spacers up front. I wanna straight swapity-swap from what I got now to the TRD Pro Bilstein’s. This truck must have been a TRD sport package cause it has the TRD exhaust and rear strut but none of the other goodies. Any info or links to threads would be helpful all. Thanks in advance. Also what’s the best website to order OEM TRD stuff right from Toyota? I am having a hard time tracking that down to.

I agree Dude! Only problem is that I can’t find any for sale! They all say “discontinued”.

There was no Sport package in 2015, so the prior owner must have added those TRD parts.

@Roman here on the forum can get you any Toyota part you need.
