@4Runner is ffv. I believe he and the other ffv SC guys have been pretty much problem free once through the install.

I have a 2014 ffv with a SC and all is going well. I had it installed about a yr ago at FIS. I will say its pricey yet to me it's so worth it.

Just buy one already, it's only logical since you have your suspension and exhaust mods taken care of. :spending:

Lol, this freaking guy!! It’s definitely planned for the future, but I need to work out all the details about how to get it daptized, and all that good stuff. Thanks for being a bad influence though!

I can buy one locally for $6k (even less if talked down) with the install kit included, but I am 50/50 on the fence as i can't justify the cost. I went the Pedal Commander way to fix the weak throttle response for now.

I just installed the idrive throttle response. Its so worth the cost along with way more Mods then the Pedal Commander.

Its has from Normal mode which is Auto and Manuel type. Then it has Eco mode this controls the throttle so it will not max the fuel when always pressing the pedal. The best is Ultimate mode this has from 1-9 this will control how aggressive the response actually is. I have it at 5 then 6 at times 9 is crazy lol. With my supercharger and at 9 it jumps off the line like it wants to buck you off so you need to really learn to use the 9 and how touchy it is. The cost was $300 takes less the 10mins to install.

PC does the same thing and they are the same thing. You said mods, not adjustability. You can do the same with Pedal Commander, and I paid $259 for mine, but let's not derail the thread more than you have already.

To each is own so that I can understand. Yet two of brothers have the pedal commander and a SC as well. They both feel the same way after driving mine. So we can agree to disagree. To clarify myself I was at McDonald's in line while texting I ment to text modes not mods that was my fault.

    Good luck ...

Hi blackz151. Where are you located? I was on the fence about a year ago as well regarding the magnuson on my 2017 FFV due to some threads I've read online. There is a local Toyota dealership in Phoenix that installed quite a few of these on FFV Tundra's. PM me and I can give you a good contact to reach out to who handles the magnuson installs over there. I ended up not going through with the purchase due to spending the money elsewhere, but still have the itch to get one.

I have a 17 Pro FFV with the Mag and TRD dual exhaust and a custom intercooler setup. I have had it since February of 18 and put 15K miles on it with no issues. I plan on doing headers, mids with cats to the TRD system, a smaller puller on the blower, a catch can system, SABM, Bigger injectors and fuel pump then lastly a DAP tune before the year is out. Ill give updates once finalized.

I'd still like to get one...glad to hear yours has been trouble free on the FFV.
