Am I going to have any problems with aAm 4 inch lift compared to a 3 inch? Would rather go taller

I have the 4" tough country installed on my rig, it will ride stiffer and will put more wear on CV joints. Like the 4" over the 6" because of state laws and age and it's nice and ferm up front without the TRD front away bar. Did not have to trim anything or cut frame mount with 35×12.5 tires.
If I was going to do it agian I would look into the no-cut 6"or 4" lift that's now available along with the TRD sway bar. Also whatever lift you do get make sure you put bump stops in up front. 20180813_161737.jpg

There is not much benefit going from 3" to 4" lift but a lot of negatives in my opinion. I recommend going 3" max lift. Here is mine on 3/1.5" lift with 37x12.5 tires.

Whatever you decide on, just don’t be this guy. Where I live, everyone over 6” is totally this guy:

In all seriousness, I think for what you are looking for (looks over function), the readylift would be a decent option. Stay away from anything with “country” in the name.

I think this designation is mostly for the Ford diesel guys anyway, just thought it was funny.

But it looks like I did offend at least one person so if anyone feels attacked I’m sorry.

It rides fine. Some bumps are a little rougher, but it is a truck. I actually called a shop today about different lift setups. I just hit 80,000 on my OEM shocks today. He said put some Bilstein 5100's in and it will be much better. He said my kit is one of the most popular used kits. The best price is the one that I sent to you. Are you doing the install yourself?

There is a place here in Delaware that said they will do that lift with new upper control arms and an alignment for $699 so I was thinking about going there because even if I did it myself I would still have to buy upper control arms to dial-in the alignment correctly.

On my 13 I did not have to change the control arms. I had my alignment done at the dealer and they didn't have any issues aligning it. I don't know of the newer models are the same.

They said some models they don’t have a problem with what they highly recommend doing it.I figure if I’m going to spend the money anyway I might as well do it the right way
