Been buying cleaning/detailing stuff over the winter. Watching lots of youtube videos and researching online. Also bought a jug of Beadmaker after seeing some great reviews and the comments in one of the posts here.

Last weekend I finally was able to do a full wash on my '18 CM that I bought in October. Over the winter I've washed it with a waterless wash twice and gone to the wand wash (NO BRUSH) a few times to keep the dirt and salt down.

    3 bucket method
CG Mr. Pink and I think I used some AutoGlym foaming wash
Washed the tires down and scrubbed them clean
    Foamed half the truck
    Washed it down
    Foamed other half
    Washed that half down
Dried using CG After Wash and a CG weave towel
    Applied some tire dressing
Polished with AutoGlym polish (had it kicking around from other vehicles)
    Beadmaker
Then touched up the entire interior and exterior plastic with CG VRP.
Leather cleaner and protector (Mothers) on the seats.
Holy crap. The truck looked amazing.

Now a week later the truck has some dust and pollen on it. Decided to pull out the pressure washer and clean out some debris and crap thats been collecting in the bed. Vacuumed out the interior. Next thing I'm filling up two buckets with some hot water and getting out the foam cannon. About an hour (or maybe 90 mins??) later I've finished drying. Sun is going down. Then I look at my collection of products and think "I should just do the hood with some CG Butter Wax. I haven't tried it yet." Of course I ended up doing the entire truck.

"Hi. My name is John. I'm addicted to keeping my truck clean."

    "Hi John!"

OMG that made me tired just reading that. But it is nice to know that I’m not the only person that is overly anal retentive about his vehicles.

I agree. You have a problem but your tundra is black. My bro has a black accord. Sister’s fiance has a black camry.

Both constantly wash and detail. Bro also does his black leather. I have not needed to wash my truck since new. I also dont have swirls.

You make me feel bad. I just spray mine down with a pressure washer about once a month. Takes about 10 minutes.

Hi John, welcome to the group. Unlike AA or something similar, we are enablers and encourage addiction.

“Let me try this stuff out on a fender real quick, and I’ll be right inside honey.”
