I own a 2019 Toyota Tundra SR5, Double Cab, 5.7 V8. The Toyota emblem in the center of the grill is a radar emitter for the radar assisted cruise control. There are also sensors on the corner of each 20190407_090402~01.jpg 20190407_092203.jpg side if the bumper. I'm looking for a grill/brush guard that won't interfere with the sensors. Does anyone know of any grill/brush guardd which may be compatible?

Doubt you will find a full brush guard that will work. I would look more at the bull bar as it mounts low and in the center.

I have a Westin full guard and it does not interfere with parking sensors, however the thick plate screen will interfere with the center sensor. You will have to move it. I think there may be posts on this on the site. You might look into grill guards with push bars that leave the grill open. Even then, I imagine that center sensor is much more sensitive than the parking sensors, more like the blind side monitors, that pick up cars from great distance. I would research that issue carefully.

Just keep it clear in Front of the emblem and it won’t interfere.
The emblem has a 5degree vertical and 20 degree horizontal beam. I could have left more the mesh on but oh well.

Summit series from ranch hand. You would have to drill hole for the bumper sensors

I found one that works with my 2019 Tundra and doesn't interfere with the radar sensor. Thank you all for the input.

Found a grille guard that works. It's a Luverne that has an open part in front of the emblem. The TSS works fine. 20190428_161619.jpg

In interested just the push bar, I do not need full front end protection but more than a Bull Bar, i do have bumper sensors and ideally I would like to keep my tow hooks but i fear that is asking to much. Any recommendations on Push bar alone?

I am interested in one as well, 2016 CM, do they come in chrome? I am either interested in the chrome or black and possibly have it painted the same color as my truck. My 2016 does not have the center sensors, just the side on the bumpers. I also assume that you lose the use of the front tow hooks, would like to keep them but I have never seen a front guard that can be installed without losing the tow hooks?

    Welcome from NY.
Pretty much they all will work fine.
If you get a Ranch Hand you just have to remove the center mesh that's infront of the TSS sensor.

Actually the Ranch Hand Legend grill guard now comes with the center section of the mesh already removed. In general, avoid the brands that only mount at the tow hooks- they are flimsy. And Bull Bars are just cosmetics

That is great to hear. Many websites including Ranch Hand's website say they do interfere with the parking sensors so this is a relief since I almost pulled the trigger on buying the Westin HDX grille but I really want the Ranch Hand one.

Hi all. I've been considering one of these after almost hitting a deer the other day. Can anyone attest to the effectiveness of the ranch hand grill guard against a deer? Thanks a bunch.
