    Okay guys, I need to buy an electric power washer to wash the cars and some light cleaning around the house (concrete patio, siding, etc). I don't need a professional grade machine, and I don't need a gas machine either.

    Looking for reasonably priced electric pressure washer that also can be used with a foam cannon. Feel free to recommend a foam cannon as well.

    Thanks in advance.

    This is the one I have. Not the cheapest, but I’m very happy with it.

    For a foam cannon, I use a cheap one from Amazon. I’ve tried others, and see no point in spending a lot of money on them. I’ve had it a couple of years and have used it a ton. No issues.

    Have used a sun Joe. Just get the most gallons per minute. It has worked pretty good, just wish it had a little bit more pressure. It works well with a foam cannon.

    @BIGUGLY and @jtwags -

    Do the Sun Joe ones have the 1/4” quick connect?

    @War Machine -

    I think the green works one has 1/4” quick connects and m22 fittings right?

    Thanks guys.

    I believe it's the quick connect. My foam gun snaps right on to the wand

    Lots of options for an electric p/w out there. A lot depends on your budget and what you consider 'reasonably priced'. I have a SunJoe SPX3000 and like it. It's rated at 2030 psi/1.76 gpm, but I can tell you that those specs are inflated. When it comes to using a foam cannon, gpm is more important than the psi. I have a cheap 20.00 foam cannon, and it does work pretty well, but I did invest in an MTM PF22, and it absolutely is better...how much better is subjective. Both foam cannons are fitted with the smaller (1.1mm) orifice, as opposed to the standard (1.25mm) orifice they come with. I use the cheap foam cannon for pre-wash foaming, and the PF22 for the wash process.

    You can go all the way up to a Kranzle p/w, but then your out of my reasonable price range (over 800.00). AR Blue Clean has a professional series that come in around the 600.00 mark, and will likely be the way I'll go if I ever go from doing detailing as a side gig to something more substantial.

    Mine didn’t come with quick connects, but I bought some from Amazon. I don’t know what a m22 fitting is, sorry.

    ^^I have the same little Ryobi that I grabbed a few years ago on sale at Home Depot during their "spring black Friday" promotions. Other then the GFI on the plug breaking it has been great so far, and that was only a $5 fix. It is perfect in my opinion for washing cars, motorcycle, lawn mower, ect. and pulling out for the odd quick job. It is definitely undersized for siding and big projects but it will still get the job done, just at a much slower pace. Even if I upgraded to a gas unit I would still use this little guy for car washes.

    While you’re at it, this Ryobi water broom attachment is awesome especially for rinsing off road salt on warm days during the winter.

    I bought the Greenworks 2300 recommended by @War Machine and it is a great power washer!

    I also bought the foam cannon recommended by @jtwags but haven’t tried it yet.

    The YouTube link from @4Runner was very good.

    Thanks guys.

    I just purchased a Sun Joe on sale at HD online sales for 105.00.

    Next is the foam cannon.

    I just purchased the Tool Daily foam cannon from Amazon. Comes with 2 orfices. I installed the 1.1mm and tested tonight. Nice thick foam, simply satisfying to watch. Not a bad deal for $20.

    Good idea, but looks like poor execution? The nozzles look like they're spraying way too wide of an angle, so the spray looks like it's basically just misting the underside of the truck. The video was too long to watch so I never got around to finding out of the nozzles could be changed out. That should've been a 60s video, not 7+ damn minutes FFS.

    Not sure, I don’t have one, wish I did, they were clearing out for $20 at HomeDepot in Canada and sold out. I would probably change out for bigger wheels so they spray higher and it moves faster.

    Find the Obsessed Garage Youtube channel. He bought every model of several brands of pressure washers and tested them. He is a fan of the Karcher k1700. Very informative videos.

    I have a karcher k2 that I use around the house, cleaning maple syrup equipment, and my car. It's okay but definitely not a gas powered washer. Everything just takes a little longer. It did work well on my deck with a special rotary nozzle. It came with a foam sprayer that is awful and its funny you bring this up cuz I just got a MATCC foam cannon for it on Amazon and I'm pretty sure it's on my front porch right now.
    Just be aware that a lot of electronic power washer manufacturers have their own way of connecting parts and wands, so you'll need to buy adapters or brand specific parts.
    Edit just opened my amazon foam cannon that is made for karcher. I am shocked how heavy this thing is. Lots of brass and very little plastic.
