i just finished setting up mine. I went with all rhino rack parts. significantly cheaper than thule or yakima. check amamzon or rackattack.com for pricing. If you call rack attack and mention that your a forum member they will give you 15% discount and free shipping over $100. I went with the RTV128 50" tracks. It fits perfectly between the stake pockets. it comes with pop rivets but it is too short to go through the bed side plastic cover and the sheet metal. I went to home depot and bought the largest pop rivet they had. i tried using plus nuts but it wouldnt grab into the materials.

For the legs i used the RTL600 which are quick release and comes with locks unlike the thule or yakima. for the load bars i went with the 71" vortex aero bars in silver. I did call rhino rack about installing a rtt in the future and they recommended 3 load bars to support the tent. my plans is just to install bike carriers and a basket to haul extra loads.

I have Thule tracks and square cross bars. Because of the bed size I found the Thule bars flex under load and one popped loose from the track with a bike, paddle board and surfboard on it. Fortunately 3 points stayed connected so i didn’t have it completely or off. I now have max-modular aluminum 14” by KB Voodoo. This thing is solid, and plus it got the RTT elevated a bit more to make use of annex.

Max-modular with Tepui RTT. I am working on some mods, adding lights and hoping to mount a kayak and RTT side by side

I'm assuming the Yakima tracks work well with the Rhino towers?
    How long are the tracks?
Also what Yakima system are you guys comparing the Rhino one too that you're saving money going with Rhino? Just looking right now, but it seems like Rhino is more expensive on the cross bars and the tracks, slightly less expensive on the feet.

The tracks work well with most towers or feet; However, I did have to purchase some yakima anchor plates to slide in to the yakima rails. The Rhino anchor plates were a little too thick. My rails are 44" long.
I think the comparable towers are the SkyLines. The mechanics were a little smoother and will probably work great over time, but when I added up those towers and the streamline bars I came out about $100 more than Rhino. Also, the sales guy at the rack place said that the Rhino bars had a better weight capacity. I don't remember what it was but it was enough to make me think that I could get away with just two cross bars if I ever get an RTT. Maybe prices have changed since I did the research, but also make sure your looking at 1 cross bar vs 2. A lot of them are sold individually.

    Good luck with the research.

I found this picture on a tundra that could potentially help you or anyone else kinda see the sheet metal under the plastic covers.

What are some options for hardware to mount the tracks onto the bed rail? Kinda stumped on which route to go. I also plan on mounting my RTT onto the bars. Any suggestions will be helpful! Thanks
