I've got a 2015 Bad Boy CZT Elite 5400 with the Kawasaki FS730V and a Grammer seat. I love it but I catch myself looking at it's newer cousins quite often and even its direct Arkansas competitor, the Spartan brand mowers. My dealer offers both brands and it really is a toss up on which to buy. I mow 3 acres and I can mow and trim my place including around the pool and fence in an hour and a half. Cut my time in half since moving on from a John Deere 48" lawn tractor. Mowing is where I get my peace and quite around my place. My trimmer is a Stihl FS55R which I have owned for 12 years almost worry free. I had to replace the carb on it after about 6 years.

I absolutely love mowers and mowing! Out of college years ago I mowed yards on the side. I had about 25 yards a week. I had a Scag Turf Tiger and a Snapper Pro s150 ZTR. Had a little 36" Scag WB also. Back then I loved Shindaiwa for trimmers and blowers before the merger with Echo.

I grew up in farm country and my family were green and loved Deere. I have several mowers and like messing around with older Deere's. I completely redid a little JX75 with a Kawasaki on it. Best push mower ever. I then got my hands on a 318 and redid it from top to bottom. Literally replaced every single nut and bolt and all new everything. I then have an x758 that I have for every day mowing duty and chores!

Pics of the 318 when I first got my hands on it not running. Prevuius owner said it would not start. I got a new battery, replaced all fuel lines and pickups, cleaned carburetor and it fired right up!!! Then came the strip down to the frame and slow build up of almost new everything!

Yes sir, love my x758! I have the quick attach for the front and the 54" blade. I move a little dirt and rocks here and there and it does very well. I also bought the power Flo and mc519 cart this past fall. The Yanmar is phenomenal! Would not trade mine in for nothing. That is coming from many ZTR and Scags. Love the capability of it!
