Screenshot_20190330-084239_Gallery.jpg Anybody on this forum ever used a do-it-yourself dent removal kit. I noticed a very small dent coming out of the store the other day. Most people probably wouldn't even notice it but like most people in here I notice every detail of my truck. I've personally never used a kit and done it myself, or used a paintless dent repair company. I watched a few videos on YouTube on how to do it yourself, but most of those guys were fumbling around with the kits they bought and it didn't seem to be as simple as I thought. Any input would be greatly appreciated, I don't mind spending money to have something done right but if it's easy and I can save some money I will do it myself.
(The picture actually makes it look worse, it's about the size of silver dollar)

Thinking not a DIY unless you are real familiar with paint/body repair. Your results may not get you what you want, and still need to pay someone. I would find a paint less repair guy, if really bothering you.

I've used one locally here in PA. Best bet would be to talk to the dealer body shop guys and find out who they use.

Not personally. A few on here have with good results. As mentioned, body shops and dealerships for recommendations.

I’d rather not list. My wife might see it.
Not a DIY for me since the small
dent can easily turn into a bigger problem and will cost a whole lot of $$ for a body-paint shop to fix.

I recently had a mobile paintless dent repair guy come out for $50 (So Cal). He fixed 2 dings on my wife’s BMW X-5 and it looks like new.

I watched the entire process and I’d say there’s definitely some craftsmanship involved. He explained that the smaller dents were more difficult to make them disappear.

Hire a professional for a relatively low cost and get the results you want.

Yelp is awesome finding these types of services. You get direct feedback from people who already used them. I try to find services with at least 100 reviews. Having 5 stars with only 3 reviews is useless .
