wow thanks for sharing, and I was thinking of moving my little family at the military base there but I would get arrested for beating any of those drug addicts and drug dealers if they harm my family, and they would probably arrest me for life and let the real criminals go. You know some conspiracy theorists are not crazy, how could the government or city leaders let that happen?, maybe theyre told not to do anything about it and accept the paycheck, I don't know.

Detroit was the example of what not to do. Yet tons of cities and even the entire state of CA are following in its footsteps

Agreed. I was shocked when they cleared out the homeless camp on the river trial.

Why do they allow the homeless and drug addicts to live in tent cities?

The tent cities were cleaned out here in Colorado Springs. Then the people started living in RVs on city streets. Ordinances were passed and now RVs cannot be parked on city streets.
Now the RVs are parked outside of the city...in various locations.

I'm seeing the same thing in Aurora although there are homeless encampments near the I-70 not far from my work and it's doubled in size that last couple weeks. I expect a clear out soon.

And where do these people get their money to lead their homeless lives? Money has to come from somewhere to fund whatever.

Because they refuse to force them into anything different. Regardless of it being treatment, rehab, jail or anything. Drug addiction or mental illness must be treated. +90% of the time those people will not seek out treatment. The ACLU and others have seen to it that we can't force the into any program or long term treatment as long as they are marginally competent. Then we give them incentives to keep doing what they are doing by providing shelters, free food, money, needles, and other enablers out of perceived acts of kindness.

It might be tough but sometimes you have to force people to face their demons. I feel for them but also I also know its the best thing for them to do NOTHING to support them unless they ask for help and a way out.

from my experiences it seems to be an issue whereever there is a sanctuary city. legalization of drugs and clean needle facilities tends to draw the crowds that cant support themselves.

I was recently in Colorado springs and saw the encampments under the highway bridges along a river there. I asked a couple of locals and they said that the drugs drew the masses. funny to me is how miserable they had to be in that cold. all for a hot of some random crap? lots were fighting their bikes through ice and snow on the sides of the road. I guess it's a good way to stay warm.

I just never expected to see that going on over there.

Seattle, Portland, and San Fransisco. And, those same clowns are after us and our gas guzzling vehicles. They will be at war against us eventually. They have already made living in any state on the "left coast" unconstitutional!

This is a harbinger of life on the left coast.
