I've used the the spray tint and static cling tint before they were just ok. Just order the Luxe tint, looking forward to the new mod.

Yes, used the tailight kit from them to do the tailights. It looks better than spray tint I've had previously. I suppose you could use it on headlights but I don't know why you would.

I use a nanotechnology ceramic coat instead of wax. Lasts years. I have not tried on these lights but might make things easier to maintain. FYI

Hi, I know this is a rather old post. Question, what kind of tint did you use and how did you cover the fin that is on the taillight?

So much work. HAHA Just do what I did and spray the inside of the lens. This way the outside stays shiny!

Call me crazy, but I want people to SEE my taillights not tint them to semi hide their illumination. Where I live in No Utah, rear floods might be in order!

Looks great! I personally prefer a light smoke film, just apply it like a vinyl wrap.

I'm trying to convince myself to do Vivid dry application film for tail lights. 3rd brake, headlights and fog lamps. The little protruding fins on the tail lights concern me. Anybody done film?

Is Luxe a dry application or wet? 3rd gen fins on tail lights worry me...

Can you just sand the fins off? Or are they hollow fins?
