I'm building a Tundra for my place in Baja's East Cape, just north of the Cabo Pulmo area. Roads are tough and it's pretty remote so I chose a Tundra for reliability and power. I'm changing out a lot of parts and then sending it to Camburg Engineering for a complete transformation. Pics should be dramatic.Front.jpg Side.jpg

    Status update:
I've added a lot of aftermarket parts to the truck to date. Got word today from Camburg that Fox told them another 2/3 weeks for coil over delivery. That sucks, I guess it's the price of doing a project in the summer when everyone else is doing them and it's racing season. Here's a few pics and a list of what's been added or about to be added.

    On order:
    N-Fab Rock Sliders
Exploration Outfitters, Front Runner Roof Rack
Rear Bushwacker fender flares coated in LineX
    LineX on rocker area

    Installed:
Black TRD grille, silver surround and hood bulge (Fake Plastic Chrome Sucks It!)
NSV light bar in hood bulge
Headlight revolution LED headlights, interior, cargo, and back up light upgrades
ESP under rear seat storage (3 box)
Marathon seat covers front and back
Weathertech floor liners front and back
ICS Fab attachment mount in dash
    LineX in the cargo box
Tundra heavy cargo rubber bed mat
    Bakflip box lid
GoRhino rear bumper with flush mounded 3X3 Rigid floods

There isn't much on this list that stands out except the rear bumper, the cost will be about $12,500 including the items on order. All before it goes to Camburg for another $35K. WTH am I thinking?

I took it as that plus everything on order... but that doesn't add up either. It has to be everything totalled up maybe?

Lights are now installed in the rear bumper and Bushwackers are on. Hopefully Camburg will be ready by mid June.

Not done yet but we've made serious progress. I've had the truck back from Camburg for about 5 months so obviously I suck at keeping my new friends up to date. I was out duck hunting today when I got this message so while I was washing down gear I took some pictures and am adding some others. I drove the truck to Cabo San Lucas and Cabo Pulmo, ASSPAIN! It was fun but a very long drive. Enjoy the pics, please ask any questions.

One note: The truck is going to Ohio this summer to Nuthouse Industries to add the rack, slide out kitchen, tent, and awning. Then I'll likely be done with the majority of the wallet sucking adventure this thing has become. When I get back from Ohio I'll add pictures with the kayak on the roof and you'll get the big picture.

    Merry Christmas everyone! JQBBT003.jpg BBT004.jpg BBT005.jpg BBT002.jpg BBT006.jpg BBT008.jpg BBT010.jpg BBT011.jpg BBT012.jpg BBT013.jpg BBT014.jpg BBT016.jpg BBT017.jpg BBT019.jpg BBT020.jpg Tundra pic 1.jpg BBT003.jpg
