    It is hard to believe that something like this can slip through. There are so many things that have to come together before the flight can take off; even just the pilots walking through the gate where the destination is shown on the monitors, and communicating with the tower asking for permission to take off they have to announce their destination at some point. Just shows you how easily things can get screwed up.

    I wanna know....did the pilot make announcements saying “the weather in Germany is expected to be 40*” like they so here in the states.

    Or did he intend to go to scotland? Maybe he got reassigned?

    I've heard of pilots landing at the wrong airport which is sort of messed up but how do you confuse Scotland with Germany????
