anyone Line-X sliders vs powder coating ? yea or nay ?
thinking of getting some bare sliders and have them line-X at my local shop. Price would probably be cheaper than powder coating since I know the guy working there.

I thought about it on my last truck. Then someone pointed out to me that it will get peeled off when scraping them, then your paint touch up won’t match

I've seen a few guys use bed liner on the top only, paint everywhere else. Gives a little grip to use as a step.

Now, I just need to install them but not physically capable at the moment and it will be a while before I can, I just may have to get them installed. Are you installing them yourself?

not sure yet. They are somewhat local to me. I would go pick them up and inquire about installing them if I was getting them powder coated already.

It can be a haul to get to shop, leave early from LB and be back before traffic starts to pile up. I heard there's a local shop that can do it nearby WKOR. I'm itching to get mine installed and I found a shop in Northridge, (I live in North Hollywood now...former LBC, then Sunset Beach then HB)
