Rotate the plug on the back of the port so the ground is connected and the hot wire isn’t. This will allow your port on the back of the console to still be keyed. Then run a 16g wire from the positive terminal on the back of the power port to your fuse box under the drivers side dash and connect it to a slot that’s always on...or run it all the way to your battery if you wish.

You forget the chrome shifter bezel. Looks good though. Mine has held up pretty well I used rustoleum plasic trim paint

It's also plastic welded. You can knock off the welds with a chisel or razor knife. Then just a few dabs of hot glue will hold it in after you reinstall.

I'll have to look into it. Breaking things and then fixing them has not worked for me more than it has.

Some of those things require a bit of sanding and some adhesive promoter before the paint goes on. Looks great either way and keep us updated when it dries completely.

Yep I might end up redoing it at some point. At least this will give me an idea of if I like it or not before I take the plunge!

    Center console is organized.
Can't put a gun there because that's where my leg goes - I found a paddle holster that just clips to the plastic pocket in the door.
Personal preference here, but those knobs look try-hard to me.
Dual USB or USB in the back would be a nice project though!

Because sometimes you may need to charge something while you’re in the store, at the park, fishing, whatever...and need to lock your vehicle without leaving it running or with the key on.

So I went out to check it this morning and the paint/poly has already hardened up nicely. Can’t scratch it with my fingernail anymore!

@TXTundra2722 It will if I lay it over, more the holster than gun.It doesn't bother me at all. I looked at magnetic clip, but wasn't sold it would be strong enough. I like the quick access :quickdraw:
