Sigh.Been on BFG tires since the late 90s on previous trucks. Now that I have a '19 Tundra 4x4 with Michelin's, I've been all over the internet, and here of course, looking for the holy grail like everyone else.
While this is my daily driver, it is also my fun truck. I like to find places off the beaten track and see the truck as the key to getting away, to places like Engineer Pass CO, or Gila Cliff Dwellings in the winter, or heading up to Mammoth snow. Mud, snow, dry deep sand, highway driving (no towing). I decided I want the mountain+snowflake so that limited my search. Thinking E rated tires may be better in terms of sidewalls in the rocky volcanic sharp stuff and don't mind a stiffer ride or a bit more noise. So I'm down to KO2s and Duratracs and have heard good and bad about both, colored by people's experiences. The truck is a stock Limited TRD-OR. And I can't make up my mind. Yes I know the internet has beaten this to death. Sigh.

I’d go Duratracs over KO2’s if it were me. The KO2’s can be a bit loud in wet conditions, and there wasn’t really any things I could complain about in my experience with Duratracs.

I switched my KO2's for a set of Duratrac's this year when I installed the bigger lift kit.. I'm super happy and won't be going back. The wet traction is way better and they stick like velcro in the snow here in Canada..
