Okay, hate to ask, but can you explain the bump stop and functions, etc.

The bump stops keep the wheel travel from bottoming out on the shock/strut, effectively keeping the wheel from mashing into stuff as it compresses.

Definitely go with 5100 over spacers. If you want 3 inch of lift, look into the OME kit also. There are three coil options. 612 (about 3 inches) 614 (about 3 & 1/2 inches) and 613 (not recommended without a heavy bumper). 612 is probably the option you want. 614 may require a set of UCAs. Lift numbers are all without any shims.

(I have 614 and love it, but I did get a set of UCAs)

I have my LRO kit but it didn't come with instructions. Can you show me how it moves the bump stop? It came with these L shape looking brackets. Maybe that's what it's for?

Look at all your hardware you should have some thicker washer looking parts. The thickest one the 3 is the diff drop next thickest is the bump drop last is the belly pan drop these are a smaller diameter than the other two.
I would definitely call them and have them send you the instructions also.

If you are mechanical it's a pretty straightforward kit to diy install. Check out their YouTube installs on a taco to get you some idea. Biggest thing you deal with is stuck bolts and getting the lower ball joints back together from a ground level. (They use a lift to Indra their kit in the video) but following the strap deal and patience and it works fine.

I was talking to a site that sells leveling kits (spacers and blocks) as well as the 5100s. He was not a fan of using the 5100s and shims. He also said the local dealership installs 5 or 6 level kits a week and have never changed out shocks. So, with it being road miles and because of the price and budget, I don't think there is any other way but the traditional level kit and everything I've read is praise for LRO, the kit itself, and raves about the directions.

I'm just having problem finding a local dealer to install. I'm not sure I want to tackle the install even though they rave about the directions, they estimate a couple of hours and only like a 2 out 5.

If anyone knows of an installer in the Louisiana area please let me know.

Also, if anyone had the LRO - LRT kits installed, how much does it run?

    Thanks.

Out of curiosity, if you don't mind me asking, how much did you find it on Amazon for? Complete kit, front and rear?

It wasn't from Amazon. I bought it direct from LRO. Just happened to have amazon box under them lol.
