Have a '13 CM and snapped off the antenna. Tried drilling out the broken piece but no luck. SO.. I bought the new wiring that goes mounted to the fender well all the way back to plugging into radio. Same thing on '06 was a quick fix but with this one, it include removing dash, moving air bag, etc.... Brought to the dealership yesterday for some maintenance and they said same thing, dash, airbag, $$$.

So, has anyone ever tired splicing, say right at the metal post that mounts to fender?
Of course they can't make it that easy, plug and replace!

    Thanks in advance!

I know that’s not exactly what you’re looking for. But maybe you could start back to square one and fix your existing mount
