Iforce emblems?

dumb question can’t find on the internet. Why do some Tundras have the Iforce emblem and some do not ?

 

not sure but all I can think of is maybe there not the 5.7 v8...... or they just simply removed it

 

It’s got the 5.7 , I’m guessing the later !!

 

SR5 and Limited trims get the iforce badges. Platinum and 1794 get their own badges. Lots of people debage for a cleaner look.

 

Some Tundras came with a 4.0 V6. These probably don't have that emblem.

 

No sure I get the debadging thing. I mean, whatever floats your boat, but I like them.

 

I was thinking that too, but they do say iforce on them



edit: oops, I see you actually said the V6, you might be correct then, I have never seen one of those badges

 

Nope, that is a V8 emblem.

 

My 2018 has the 4.6L v8, it did not come with iforce v8 badges

@Steelyhead I'm pretty sure it's only on the Limited, TRD, and 1794 models, and only if they have the 5.7L. I've seen the just iForce symbol without specifying the 5.7, but I'm pretty sure it's still a 5.7L. I personally have the 4.6L and it does NOT have the emblem because, quite frankly it's nothing to brag about haha. I shoulda bought the 5.7L.

 

I removed the badges because it is better for detailing and looks cleaner. Just my worthless $.02
