Changed out my shift knob. But the shift lever shaft looked like a pencil thin rod . And didn't look right with new knob .
So . I look some 5/8" stainless rod and center drilled it out to fit over shifter lever shaft. I drilled and tapped a small hole for a set screw so it would not spin on shaft .
And 5/8" rod fit perfectly into knob that has set screws to tighten them together .
Turned out nice . Just thinking of painting it all black to get rid of the chrome look. But idk.
I stopped by 4wheel parts store yesterday to buy a key for locking lug nuts that dealership forgot to give me .
While I was there I picked up a set of weather tech front floor mats .
And last week I went by a local exhaust shop that's done work for me in the past .
Guy is good and bends all his own exhaust piping .
Got him to install flowmaster dual exhaust for me . Kind of hotrod style . Tucked up high then exits at bumper corners .
Looks good and not a bad price $280
Now I'm looking at front bumper
    .dv8 and trail fx
I like them both . And cost isn't bad .
Just have to pick one .

I bought some high heat header black paint and crawled under truck . And gave all the new exhaust pipe a good coat .
Still deciding if I want to paint the tips black .
My old f250 diesel had a black tip that I liked.
