Always been curious about that sub, how does it not rattle. I was lucky enough the win a JRT raffle so I got a nice sub box with two double JL 10s went in place of the long side ok the under seat storage, I cut the box and installed the short side.

Yeah, can't say. I have a CrewMax Tundra, and the sub bolts up to a nut preinstalled on the back wall by Toyota when the truck was built.

I have to add that Tech12's customer service has to be better than Tacos Tubes because it can't get any worse. Oh and i have to mention they have a cocky attitude towards customers. I have no problems with the product itself.

    well here goes:
    @tacorob
Unfortunately, after all the defending of your product and service, I am now in the boat of REGRET.
An awesome Christmas present from my wife, has now turned into 2+ months of grief, phone calls, chats, paying MORE to get things right, wasted time, good faith on my end, and FRUSTRATION!

I have given you PLENTY of opportunity to make things right, sent numerous emails through your method of service ticket system. Delayed install because of your ERRORs, PAID expedited shipping in order to make things happen quickly, that are STILL not right.

Original system ordered for the replacement of all my door speakers, adding the sail for the tweeters. Shipment came with broken parts, and speakers for the rear without tweeters, due to my wife ordering for Christmas, not understanding that the CM has tweeters in rear door, and ********* not being Customer Service savvy enough to contact customer to edit order to correct fulfillment, even after I was on chat with them before the order was sent to inquire on delivery and shipping times. Rear 3-way speakers came BROKEN. After finding out they were the wrong ones meant for a DoubleCab, I asked about upgrading to what should've been sent (components), then I upgraded and paid the difference WITH expedited shipping. I then installed 1/2 set of the speakers into the front. I was happy with the sound, but not the loudness, and decided to move even one step further and order the amplifier for the system that you and your crew spoke so highly about. Waiting to install rears until amp, and decision on subwoofer.... Got the amp delivered, started the prep... Oh no, missing parts, and the Tundra specific mounting plate does not have the properly drilled holes for the fuse holders. The 60 Amp fuse was not in the ordered package, nor was the allen wrench for the amp, and there wasnt the surprise of a multi meter that so many people stated came with their order for tuning. Contacted Tactunes immediately nearly 2 weeks ago. Was told they would send the fuse and allen. After multiple chats and emails, fuse is STILL not here. Yes, an easily bought item, but the principle is what I am concerned with here.

After getting ready to do the final install, I finally decided to install the rear doors. Hooked up the tweeter, and noticed one of the wires disconnected from within the tweeter... tweeter non op, and not something I feel comfortable fixing by pulling apart their tweeter. Send in a ticket and have tried calling multiple times today.. nothing..

Long story short, not 1 order, of the 3 I have placed (Really 2, but counting the upgrade as a new order), have come without issues. Issues concerning poor customer service, and quality are way too much to be able to endorse. So at this point, I have a halfway installed system, wishing I just did the @james@tech12volts speaker setup, even though it wasnt offered at the time. I do have to say the dash system for Tech12volts has been awesome, came fast, and no issues.

@tacorob, I hope you are listening, as next step is Credit Card disputes!

Wow, sorry for your Troubles. Worst part is you have a ton of prep each time to find out you still don't have everything you need. I was always leary of the quality of his own branded equipment and was really put off of his treatment of customers in this thread. Happy with my name brand equipment and knowledge of @james@tech12volts

The sad part is, I have so many vehicles and social media sites, that an endorsement and word of mouth doesn't stop at this thread. I defended them earlier in this thread, and even promoted their product, as I thought it was superior. Part of me just wants to rip their product out and install @james@tech12volts .. I am willing to take the loss out of sheer FU status, but we will see how they handle the broken tweeter.... or should I say IF, they handle it, as so far NOTHING...

Chat ensures that i will get a replacement tweeter sent out next week.. however, if they cannot get a fuse out, I wonder about a tweeter... Let's assume positive intent....

    Don't forget OEM Audio+ !!!!

My stuff is still sitting in my office, ready for install, due to recovery from shoulder surgery, but they were very easy to work with.

Itsdshz, Crutchfield is the way to go for speakers. Door and wire adapters worked perfect for me.

In my opinion there’s only one company to go with as far as audio goes... @james@tech12volts is far superior to deal with then the rest.

New member here with my first truck, 2017 tundra crewmax sr5. I did order the amps kit from ********* and they shipped them out in 3 days. Waiting for it to arrive for the install. I ordered the components, subs, and box elsewhere and went with Focal instead of Image Dynamics.

    Components came in today

I could not get the CD to work so I just tuned by ear. The way I looked at it was I am not going to listen to test tones.

the test tones are not meant to be used by ear. you are supposed to use a multi meter with the tones.
