Since the cowl was off I went ahead and painted it along with the wiper arms.

My '02 TRD nicknamed "Toby". Had that truck for 15 years without a single problem except for needing a paint job. That truck saw more states than a lot of people and hauled a ton of stuff. Sold it to upgrade to a 2018 crewmax. Still miss it though, great truck! 20180526_103210.jpg

Since the rattle can was out went ahead and took care of somethings I’ve wanted to do for a long time.

Not sure about the price. There is a for sale section on this site. Try it there.

That hand scares people all the time, funny as hell.
Haven't sold yet, have someone coming tonight to look at it. Why? I purchased it in poor condition, had been sitting for a few years. I have been bringing it back to life slowly but the misses has trouble parking it and she has been wanting me to get a crew cab sooooo..... It must go

I like the color matched mirrors in your first pic. I may do this as mine are chrome and beginning to hairline crackle. Welcome by the way.

The pictures of the black 02 are a little dated, I really need to get some better ones. These pictures partially show the 03 front end conversion. I’ve since added the 05-06 headlights and ome front lift. More pictures coming.

    Hey all,
I have been a lurker for 6+ months but finally decided to make an account! I wanted to share my 2003 Tundra that I purchased in September 2017. It's got the 3.4l V6 and 5 speed manual transmission, 145k miles. Previous (and original) owner was an elderly man who used it for camping and to tow his small fishing boat. It was always garage kept and it shows! Its in great condition with only some minor scratches, the interior is pristine. Since I have owned it, I added an aftermarket radio and Tan Softopper (I camp a lot and sleep in the bed). I'd like to get some different OEM style rims and upgrade the shocks/struts in the future, but like the mostly stock look. I enjoy this forum a lot and am looking forward to contributing!

Transmissions are fine, the 5 speed is seemless and the 4 speed is going strong.

Unfortunately just 2WD, but it hasn't stopped me yet! I don't do anything too rough, only occasional fire roads and the like.

Seems like the 00-04, tundra 3.4 manual 4x4 has become a unicorn.

    The 2005/06 transmission is good.
The 2000/02 4x4 transmission sucks. I had a 2000 and an 01, drove a few others and they all had quirks.

Your right, per say, but for anybody with a 00-02 that passes a certain mileage threshold they should be good for years to come. In 03-04 they beefed up the design. Personally, I think Toyota should have added the 5 speed tranny to the 03-04 models to coincide with the v8 4Runner.
