3/1 readylift, 35x11.5r20 ridge grapplers, 20’ fuel wheels, bakflip revolver bed cover, console safe, N-fab side rails, mini antenna, 2019 TRD Pro grill, color match hood bulge, front bumpershellz, baby car seat, to be continued...
So I’m getting a 3/1 level installed on Friday and I ordered a set of ridge grapplers 295/65/r20 (35.12x11.77) I wanted to get the 285/65/r20’s (34.8x11.5) but they didn’t have any in stock. The 295’s are 0.32” taller and 0.27” wider than the 285’s

I’m running stock suspension with the 3/1 readylift sst kit on 20x9 +20

Do you think the slight height and width increase will cause any more issues than the plastic massaging/trimming , maybe skid plate that I was expecting? I don’t want to hit the cab mount or buy new suspension. Don’t really want to bottom out on the wheel well either

The tire guide says 285/65/r20 will work and the readylift website says 295/65/r20 will work.

Did you have to do a CMC, or just plastic trimming? I’m looking at getting a 20x9 with a -12 offset and trying to decide on tire size. Do you have any more pics? Thanks in advance.

Man I just picked up some 295/55/20s thinking they were not going to rub. Guhreat. I’ve got a 3rd gen with a 2” front lift.

are you saying they do rub? if so, what is the offset of the wheel you are using? my comment was for a wheel with a +50mm offset.

I don’t know the offset, I have some dick cepek wheels that came with the truck so I’m not sure how to figure it out. As of now, I have some 275/55 that are sitting flush with my fenders so I was thinking these 295/55 were going to stick out maybe .5 an inch.

I called Cepek and they said the only way to find out is to break down the tire and look inside the wheel to find the offset. They weren’t very helpful on the phone.

You can run 285/55/20s or 275/65/20s with a 20x9 +20 and zero changes without rubbing.

you don't have go through all that trouble. the wheel offset is usually stamped on the inner (rotor) side of the wheel. all you have to do is remove the tire and look.

    for example (+35 offset):

All offset is is the distance in millimeters from the center of the wheel to the backside face that mounts to the hub.

#1, Put a straightedge on the back rim of the wheel and use a tape or ruler to measure from your straightedge to that face in inches. Be very precise, down to the 1/16".
#2, Divide your wheel width by two, you said you're on 20x9s, so it's 4.5".
#3, This is where you determine whether you have positive or negative offset. If your measurement in #1 is more than the answer from #2, you have positive offset. Subtract #2 from your measurement in #1. If #2 is more than what you got in #1, you have negative offset. Subtract #1 from #2. If #1 and #2 are equal, you have 0 offset.
#4, Multiple the answer in #3 by 25.4 to convert to millimeters.

from your description, I would guess that the offset it either +18mm or +25mm.

but pull a tire off and check the inside of the wheel :)

295/55/20? yes. you may just have to trim or manipulate plastic a bit more. which shouldn't be too bad for that size.

I posted this on the ultimate wheel/tire thread but I’ll add here.

    Readylift 3/1 sst kit
Fuel sledge 20” wheels +20 offset
    35x11.5 r20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers

Removed both front mud flaps, trimmed plastic behind front bumper. Missed the cab mount but very very close to rubbing

    Quick question

    Bumping front end up .75”

Think 275/70/18 RG’s will fit with no issues at all?

    (6112’s lowest setting)

    Thanks

Yes, I ran that size on stock suspension. It only rubbed the front mini flap in reverse at full lock.

So the 3/4” while not much could eliminate the rubbing??

I think it depends more on the wheel offset, although lift may help alleviate, but not necessarily eliminate altogether, the rubbing up front.

Yeah, pics would be perfect. Same here, nothing in rear. I'm just going 3" because the rack from rear to front is about 3.25" (not normally seen). But the dealer was worried about providing that much lift in front would have the UCAs at an angle bringing them closer to the tires.

I ended up going with 35x11.5r20 ridge grapplers (they’re just a tad bit smaller than the 285/65’s). Just trimmed plastic behind bumper. Stock uca’s had plenty of clearance. I’m barely missing the cab mount.

You wouldn't happen to have any pics of tire well or where you trimmed plastic, huh? But it's encouraging that the stock UCAs had plenty of clearance and basically same tire. So you went with the
295/65/r20s and went 3" on front right?

No I didn’t end up going with the 295’s I went with the ridge grappler 35x11.5xr20’s they’re a hair smaller than the 285/65’s. I have a +20 offset. Any bigger would prob hit cab mount. I’m missing by millimeters. The UCAs have lots of room

Top pic you can kind of see where the plastic was trimmed. It probably could have been massaged but that’s what the shop did and I wasn’t there
