Yeah I saw this video when I first bought my truck. I figured with a little suspension on my SR5 I can do the same thing. Pretty capable truck right out of the box.

The rock crawling in Utah on stock tires was an eye opener.

I’m still rocking my stock Michelin‘s! Everyone talks shit but they have been really good to me. I don’t push my trucks limits like some do, but I have been in a few gnarly spots and these tires pulled me right out of it.

I am curious how much damage was done to the truck that they didn't show.

Oh they drag ass on a few things! I’m sure it was a little banged up. Hopefully they would mention if they had any equipment failures. It’s been a minute since I’ve watched the videos but I don’t recall any catastrophic failures.

I was watching it the other day and nothing catastrophic happened, just curious how bad the skid plates, body and suspension looked after.

I remember cringing when they were four people deep, driving up that rock face dragging bumper.

Chunky rocks need chunky tires... Slick-rock, not so much. The best tire for Slick-rock are "slick" tires. You don't need the big knobs to "penetrate". You need maximum contact-patch and the most leading edges you can get.
