Lots of people on here have done it. Mixed reviews. Do a quick search for plasti-dip batches and you’ll find a few threads on the topic. Lots of pictures too. We like pictures around here.

Badges. Not batches. That wouldn’t help :)

For what it’s worth, I tried to save a few bucks and went with overlays. I didn’t like them at all. Ended up just buying the OEM ones. Much better looking IMHO and you’ll never have to worry about the plasti-dip fading or peeling off. Especially if you wash your truck religiously like a lot of folks do, myself included.

I second that. I’ve plastidipped all sorts of badges and used overlays as well. When factory black badges are available, and now at an even cheaper price, it’s well worth it. The overlays for the 4Runner are perfect tho.

I did my grill here in CO 2 years ago. It looks like hammered dog shit now with all the rocks and stuff, don't really care but that stuff doesn't hold up that well.

Do it right and follow directions; it will turn out great! @Tundra174x4 A quick search should yield you a host of results on Plasti-Dip.

Plasti dip is all about prep and time. I have my bumper camps with plasti dip and going over a year and have taken some shopping carts and trash cans to them and they are doing great. Key is not to do 1 coat. I applied like 8 coats per cap. Do 1 lite coat let dry for 10 15 mins. Repeat process. DONT do heavy coats. Just take your time.

Badges look great. Bumper caps obviously take a bit more of a beating, but they still look surprisingly sharp.

Mine faded. Going to get OEM badges for my 13 if I can find them or take them off and do black vinyl lettering.

Dipped mine and they're holding up well so far. Figured plastidip was a good start, if you like it you can always peel off and do overlays (or leave it). If you don't, remove it or debadge.

I did...using 7 light coats spaced 30 minutes apart. So far it’s neen one year (crappy Pennsylvania Winter) and they still look as good as the day I did it.
