Moments before Sammy, Michael Anthony, Vic Johnson, and Jason Bonham came on stage. Holy Shit they were good. Was recorded live for AXS TV. They played Montrose songs, Led Zep, Sammy's, and Van Halen. The "Circle". Lots of eye candy too. I'm old but not blind, although my ears are still ringing. Even Sammy mentioned Red Rocks is the best venue on the planet. Tonite was perfect. No clouds just stars.

Decided to move my $75 20" cree led combo flood/spot light bar. (still working fine, and very bright after 1 year. no condensation..water proof. Rain.sleet.hail, snow. -10, +105. Can't see paying $450 for a 20" with more brightness than I'll ever need. Just sayin. I don't need sun light at night, Give me a break. Totally re-did my KC's. Got too dark to take final pics. I do have pics of the Home Depot fasteners I re-used for my center flood KC's. I'll post pics of that tomorrow after work.

    20160907_180100-1.jpg I like this better.
20160906_182838.jpg I used these make shift Home Depot brackets for my LED bar where it was previously mounted. Cost less than $20 for brackets and fasteners. Re-used for my center flood KC's. Update pics tomorrow. I'm watching American Gothic now. Leave me alone for a while. heh.....heh.

Re-did a few things in day light today after work. Beer had absolutely nothing why I did the re-do.

    vv.jpg HD s**t brackets.
    xx.jpg Ditto^^^
    yy.jpg Much cleaner look.
    aaa.jpg Ditto^^
zz.jpg Decided to finally paint the fasteners.

Don't even ask me "Why don't you black out the Ranch Hand emblem???" Ranch Hand is #1. Not brag , just fact. (Well I think it's #1)

My 18th month old grandson went into ICU Friday at Children's Hospital of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Campus, Aurora. Right next to the new VA hospital that's always in the news. Severe breathing issues due to a very severe chest cold. I visited the ICU twice this weekend. Top notch care. TOP notch care. Manny was hooked up to two different bio-med analyzers and a Cpac. I recognized a lot of the bio med equipment since we calibrate of lot of various bio-med test sets at work. Good news is that he was moved out of ICU last evening. Released this afternoon. I was able to get a day of grouse hunting in. Aspens are already turning color way up.

Thought I'd post some pics of my friend Bill's 71 Riv. Bill is still trying to beat his brain tumor. This Riv has 32K, 455 V-8. Interior is almost perfect. Just came out from several moths in the restoration shop. Not show quality but still very, very decent for a 45 year old car. Totally taken apart and repainted.(interior wasn't even messed with). $30,014.11. Bill said show car level another $15K. This winter the engine is getting a makeover.

My grandmother was at Anchutz when she was undergoing cancer treatments, and she had a brain tumor removed there as well. First class care and staff. I'm convinced the high level of care, combined with how tough of a woman she was is what gave us an three extra years with her.

The Anschutz family donated over $90 million in 2006. Children's Hospital opened in 2007. (Yes, that Anschultz family)

He was released the following Sunday afternoon. He is back to normal. I've got a bad cold now. Great.

I actually fell pretty good this morning. Good enough to spend this weekend grouse hunting and sight in my 30-06 for buck season that's coming up.

My 09 Taco was a base version with the 2.7L 4 banger and steel rims. I did upgrade to DuraTracs. Nothing else Drove it to AK and back. After I got my 07 Tundra and met Sean to pick up his TRD coilovers/shocks.............Well, it awoke my inner urges that I thought were long gone. It's so cool to want to upgrade/mod your truck. I still stand by my opinion to get an SR5 and DIY. There are plenty of us here that want to DIY. It's all about $, our respective opinions, what you want to do, where you do it, how you do it. You don't need to be mechanically inclined for most of the mods here. I occasionally hit up the other Tundra forums. Not sure why anymore. This forum is way beyond the older Tundra forums. Great moderators. (I'm still here). Since I've been on here I've learned to not get too offended or take things too personally. We all have different needs. To every one here.......We, as where I work, had to take a corporate email edicate course. Bottom line is it's hard to tell if someone is serious or joking. When I type my opinions here I usually have a smile on my face. There are a lot of things going on in our country lately that we all know what is in the news. This forum is a great place for me to get a lot of that BS off my mind for awhile. Just sayin.............

I just got back from my friend Bill's house warming. Was supposed to be from 4PM to 6PM. I left at 8PM. Sure several coworkers still there. Bill is my friend who is trying to defeat his brain tumor that came back. Has no kids. Just bought a new house, spent 30K on his 71 RIV, and supplied beer and brats. I had plenty of both.

The Samsung camera, yes Samsung, that I use to take my pics. Just another day in the neighborhood:

    aa.jpg

So much for the new tech "mirror less system cameras will never catch on" BS. Ad a SIM card, good to go. My Samsung NX ($1700 list two years ago), was the first mirror less system camera that did away with....bulky mirrors and is "connected"..Who knew?? New "tech" can confuse. (Didn't take long for the major well known camera makers to jump on the mirror less system band wagon. ) DROID!!!!!!!!!! Apple is g*y.

I finally bagged another grouse today just before noon. Got a call on my cheap LG phone in the middle of fracking nowhere. Grandson back in ICU again. Viral chest infection and gee.... they found asthma issues. I hauled ass back. Speed limit? What f##king speed limit. Just got back from the hospital. Manny will be in ICU for at least two more days. My son's girl friends insurance is OK, but last visit cost me $2K to make up the difference. Don't care about the $. SUCKS.
