Tail lights

I can’t decide which tail lights to get. I have the 2019 Black headlights. The C shape one is made by Lumen and the other is made by Spyder. This is for a black 2015 crew cab. Which tail lights do you have?

 

Personally, I have my eyes on the Winjet ones. They look pretty badass in smoke. A couple of members around here have them and every pic I have seen look pretty good.

 

I have the autosaver brand, winjet knockoffs. Been good for me.

 

Any issues post-install? As in any hyperflash or issues with the LEDs (i think they are LEDS)?

 

No hyperflash. They have 2 small side markers on the outside edge of the light and 1 of them doesnt work.

 

From what I have read the auto saver knockoff brand is much better than winjet but seems to have been discontinued.

 

Maybe they got in trouble from Winjet

Spyders and Winjets are junk. I have personal experience w/both. Plenty of threads here about their issues.

 

Stay away from Winjet!

 

LOL, not high on my priority list, but eventually I do want some that look like the Winjet ones.

 

Did these fit without a gap? Looks nice!

 

So do I but there's nothing out there.........yet.

 

Mine were clear lenses with the

no gaps. Awesome bright lights. No complaints yet, and lots of compliments.

 

Still not as nice as your vanity plates though. IJS.

Yeah, I ordered the Winjets, total POS that didn’t fit, felt cheap. Sent them back and got the Autosaver. No issues with them after about a year and a half. Unfortunately they don’t seem to be available anymore. Amazon does have some available that say used, but they may just be damaged cartons. They have a warranty, so they may work out for someone.

They still look better than everything else I’ve seen in my opinion.

 

These look similar, but it doesn’t say anywhere what brand they are. Maybe you guys could contact them and get some info.

I had Winjets and they sucked, dead LEDs and the side marker LED was just flopping around in the housing. I went wth smoked red Recons and they are awesome. Bright, no hyper flash and a good fit. I love em!

 

I’ve heard good things about that brand. Look great!

Hey Jim, one thing I noticed on that site was that if they failed they would exchange them. I’d verify that you could get a refund instead if you aren’t happy.

 

Hopefully they won't be Winjets. I'll ask them that after they respond.

That's what I was thinking.

 

That OEM standard part is BS. I’m happy with the Autosavers, but they aren’t OEM quality. The Winjets were about as OEM quality as replacing Johnny Depp with Skeet Ulrich.
