    That I don’t know. You can definitely message James Randy Taylor on Facebook, he doesn’t chime in here as often.

    Yeah I’m not sure. I know it’s a plug and play system, so it won’t require any cutting or splicing. But I guess you always could depending on where you wanted it hooked up.

    Yeah the good news is that this piece should still sit below the two plastic pieces on the side of the side, so even if it slides I don’t expect it to go far. But, I’m sure if it slides it would stop charging. That’s why I’m so curious about the magnets that it uses. I’m sure JRT wouldn’t sell it if it didn’t work like a boss!

    I have that metal disc on my phone. Trick is to mount it on the lower part. Mine still charges using wireless charger and have the metal plate.

    Right around here. Use masking tape to find the sweet spot before permanently mounting the plate.

    For those looking for install instructions (sorry, no pics, not really needed for this one):

    *Disconnect negative terminal from battery first*
    1. The panel with the outlets comes straight out (4 clips on the corners). Easiest way for me was to open the outlet covers, put a finger in each, squeeze together and pull straight out.
    2. Unplug one of the outlets, plug the supplied harness to the outlet, and the outlet harness to the other supplied connector (pretty obvious when you look at it).
    3. Gather all of the excess wires (I also wrapped them in foam) and tuck behind the panel.
    4. Run the usb wire under the panel (there's enough room so it won't get pinched) and attach to the charger.

    It comes with a metal piece to attach to your phone in order for it to be magnetically attached and not slide around, but I think it will be alright without using that for normal driving. Other than that, my phone easily connects to it through a slim silicone case.

    After driving around with it today, my phone didn’t move at all (metal attachment not installed on my phone). It would take a pretty hard turn to make it move, and that’s just with the rubber part of the charger holding it in place.
