They are night and day better in my opinion. My 13 and this one are my favorite trucks to date.

Well, decided to take the junk dealer pin striping off. Did a clay block, jet seal coating and topped it with butter wet wax.

Nice lookin ride man! Sad to hear ya got rid of the Yota though :(

Agreed with all of what you’re sayin, the power of a diesel and the heavier platform is such a huge benefit pulling a TT. If it were me I’d find a cherry 7.3 or 6.6 Duramax (pre-T4) and just use it for hauling, and keep that beautiful Tundra of yours.

If you are able to get a 3/4 or 1 ton diesel and keep the Tundra then do it!

I think once you experience towing with one, it will change you. Haha

Got new tires put on as the stock ones were sketchy even with only 25,000 miles on them.

I went with Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT. I was going to go with my normal BFG but these have good reviews and 60k tread warranty.

Yep, even Nissan offers a diesel option on their full size truck. Toyota should do a straight six diesel, nothing fancy, and with a Toyota, who cares about mileage, amirite?

Very nice truck! I bet it has a transmission temperature gauge from the factory too!

There is no question the diesel will be relaxing to tow with compared to a gasser. Now once I finish work on the flux capacitor, I will buy a brand new 7.3 L diesel as I wish I'd have done years ago.

    Not nearly enough room here!
The "big 3" count on ignorant customers and blind loyalty. Friend of mine rushed out and bought a new Buick Envision. Sitting there in the showroom all wrapped up in Ole' Glory, with American this and American that everywhere. He gets it home and on the door-tag it tells him, it's built in CHINA. Not a peep from sales rep though!:D They do love the "walk-in's".

I am actually going to head over to a Ford dealership today and look at an F250. The EOY deals are too good to pass up but the numbers on my trade-in still have to be right as well as the monthly pmt. We'll see.

I always said the only way out of my Tundra would be an F250 so..............

Absolutely! The truck has been fantastic. The wife drives it more than I do as I have my work vehicle.

It may not be as off road “capable” as a Tundra but it did perfect in the snow up on the two track roads/trails in elevation the other weekend.

How do you like the 6.7? Any issues yet? I have done some research on them and they're built like brick outhouses. Definitely an improvement over the Navistar 6.4 with more HP and torque right out the gate.

Todd, I would also be interested in how many miles and if you have had any issues at all with the truck?

what if anything do you tow?

I really like the 6.7. Ford finally got it right. I have owned 3 of them now: 2011, 2013 and now this 2017.

No issues as of yet(knock on wood)other than a surge tank cap.

No issues other than a surge tank cap(knock on wood). I haven’t had any issues with any of the 3 I have owned. It just rolled over 40K. We bought it with around 22K from memory.

I tow a Polaris Ranger Crew with it. Nothing heavy but it’s nice not even knowing it’s there.

Do they all come out pushing 450 hp/935 tq or is that an option-only?

I believe it’s 440/925 but nonetheless, yes. Even more power on the 2020 models.

Yep, 475hp/1025 tq on the new F-series diesels.

Ram is the only weird one that has two different output motors. It’s still pretty good in 2019, but nothing like the competitors (370/850).
