I am currently using the Meguirs spray, but now with the wife having leather with the kids, I was looking at the wipes. Thoughts from the pros?

I'm getting some dirt/grime build up on my drivers seat bottom were I slide in and out. Grey interior. I'm looking for something that also has a cleaner in it.

Don't think I'm a pro but I use the Mequiars wipes. I try to get them on sale when I can at Pep Boys.

I purchased these wipes from Wally World last week. Great wipes in my opinion! They took off some black scuffs in the leather and cleaned up some grease from dropped Chik-Fil-A waffle fries :censored:. They also provide great, long lasting shine to my 1794 saddle brown leather. Note, you just wipe every square inch of the ENTIRE piece of leather; the shine is so noticeable that any unwiped areas will show. Hope this helps

I always use meguiars on interior dash, doors, pretty much all interior they also have a good detail spray for the exterior but as far as leather I like to use the Lexol Leather cleaner and conditioner it works really good imomeguairs.jpg

The link I gave you has both. Cleaner and conditioner.
Do the conditioner now...before it gets cold. Put it on and roll the windows up and park your truck in the sun.

You won't need to with the Leatherique. Makes it butter soft for about a year.

I used that meguires conditioner (red bottle??) on my Camry & I'm not that crazy about it. It was greasy & very slippery that last a couple of weeks before the slip & slide stops. Looking into better stuff myself for the tundra & want to try Wolfgang or the black fire stuff. They are water based & contains no harsh chemicals but more expensive then your typical items u can buy from autozone or walmart

Attempting to revive an old thread to get some more opinions on conditioner for leather seats.

Has anyone else tried the above product? Wondering if it’s worth the $. Also, while I do not expect it to work miracles, my mom has an old Jag with seats that are in fairly rough shape and was wondering if there is any hope (sorry, don’t have pics)

I have used Lexol cleaner and Lexol conditioner for the last ten years in my Siennas and now my Tundra. Works great. And Toyota recommends it for their cars as does Lexus . The outer edge of my seat that I hit coming in and out I hit with 3M 303 to make it slippery so I don’t damage that area more than possible. Peace. D

Another vote for Lexol, both the cleaner and conditioner. I use it on my Civic EX-L, MX5, wife's CR-V, and the Tundra. My Civic after 9+ years has absolutely no cracks or tears from wear. 160K miles on the Civic and the leather is still perfect. It's a little shiny due to sitting in it everyday, but the leather is still great. I treat it probably 2-3 times a year. Probably better products out there, but Lexol is available a lot of places, so it's easy to get.

    Working on it :-)
Do you do the entire seat, including the suede area? If so does it change the look of the suede?

    Thanks, Mike

I use lexol cleaner and conditioner. Seems to do the job. They gave me the stuff at the place where I had Katzkins installed on my ex wife's car. I've never used anything else for leather.
