Today I changed the oil on my 2019 Tundra TRD Sport 4x4 with a 5.7. The truck just crossed 2,000 miles and I always change oil early on a new vehicle. Drained 8 quarts and added 8 quarts of Mobil 1 0W-20 EP and an OEM oil filter. Included are photos of the filter, I noticed in the light there were a few very small metal specs in the filter pleats, which is likely normal for a new motor, and exactly why I changed the oil early. I’ll now do oil changes every 10,000 miles as prescribed by Toyota. Also, no sign of a cam tower leak. Enjoy the pics!

I have put 4600 miles on mine in a month and a half. I will change my oil 3X this year at 10K OCI. I will buy new tires every year and a half. I have already used two gallons of windshield washer lol.

The 5.7 4x4 should be due every 5,000 miles according to my 2018 owners manual

Depends on if it's a flex fuel or not. 5K for flex fuel. 10K for regular.

It also list 5,000 if you tow or use it for short drives. The dealer changes mine every 5k per the purchase agreement.

You can get away with 10k normal driving and with synthetic that shouldn't be an issue.

If your towing or hauling loads your interval is 5k. I your a lot so I stick to the 5k interval myself.

    Stock is so temporary
5 k is easy to remember and covers must situations
I also do the 2 6 10k to start off my maintenance interval
