looking at icon six speed or rebound wheels. I really like the six speeds but I’m concerned about it not being hub centric. I know a lot of guys run them, but I’m going to be going offroad a lot and I want those wheels really on there without any issues. Any thoughts? Do hub centric rings make it safe? Am incomplety wrong about the wheels? Idk need some help thanks

I have yet to find hub centric rings for our trucks. The bore of our hubs is so dang large compared to other trucks, they would be so thin.

Tons of people run lug centric rims without issue. Just gotta tighten lugs carefully

Just get the reobounds they’re hub-centric, select few method race wheels are HC along with FN wheels. Yes I’ve researched and many people have LC wheels and have had no problems and I’d rather not have anything fail so I’ll stick to wheels that are HC, I don’t like the idea of some little ring to center the wheel, just get the proper one and you won’t have to worry about it.

I have the six speeds. Looking back I wish I had purchased hubcentric wheels. You can’t use a hub rings with the six speeds because the center caps push through the hub bore from behind.

Rings don’t do anything except help mount them properly. They don’t “make” the wheels hub centric

Its been discussed multiple times in multiple whee threads. So many guys run wheels that aren’t hub centric and have never had a problem. You think wheel companies don’t think about this more than you?

True. i had them for my old chevy. It was just piece of mind that the lugs were tightening down correctly.
